Nestled in the heart of Ryde, Castle Cottage is your charming home away from home. This beautifully designed cottage is the ideal base for exploring the best of the Isle of Wight, blending comfort with convenience.



With sleeping arrangements for up to 4 / 6 guests spread across four floors, the cottage offers ample space and flexibility for families or groups of friends. It features three comfortable bedrooms, including a smaller third room with bunk beds—perfect for children.



Step in from the street into the inviting main living room, which features two connected areas. The front section includes a fireplace wall with an electric stove-style fire and a wall-mounted Smart TV, complemented by two 2-seater sofas for cosy evenings in. Just a few steps up, the raised area offers a table with four comfortable chairs—perfect for enjoying a quiet moment, playing cards, working on a puzzle, or relaxing away from the screen.



Located just a stone’s throw from the bus and train stations—as well as ferry and hovercraft links—getting around is a breeze, making a car entirely optional during your stay. The property is just a 4-minute walk from the Ryde Seaplanes terminal and only 3 minutes from the fantastic new bus station, which provides direct connections to every corner of the island.



For those who prefer to drive, on-street parking may be available nearby; however, please note that some spaces are reserved for permit holders only.



Please note that Castle Cottage does not offer on-site parking. However, parking permits are available through the Isle of Wight Council website, covering both local car parks and island-wide locations.

LOCATION:



Located in the popular seaside town of Ryde with its host of vibrant shops, bars, restaurants and cafés, it’s just a short stroll down the road to the beach, where the vast stretches of sand offer you fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth. Here, the landmark Spinnaker Tower forms an impressive backdrop. Along the promenade, you will find tennis courts, ten pin bowling, a fun fair, canoe lake and a swimming pool, providing plenty to do within the local area. You can also enjoy the scenic coastal walks, go sailing, fishing, horse riding, golf or even go-karting, all of which are easily accessible from the property. Ryde is known as the gateway to the island as it can be easily reached within just two hours directly from London Waterloo via train, which connects with the island’s catamaran and hovercraft services via Portsmouth and Southsea. Mainland motorways also connect directly with car ferry ports located at nearby Fishbourne or East Cowes.

Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, 2 small chest of drawers, wardrobe, chair and TV.

Bedroom 3: Bunk bed with small and upper single. ( Smaller room of the 3 but perfect for kids )



While there’s no outside space, the townhouse’s central location means you’re just steps away from beautiful parks, coastal walks, and vibrant local spots to enjoy the outdoors.

PLEASE NOTE:



Guests can choose to either pay a non-refundable damage waiver of £35 or provide a pre-authorised security deposit of £150 before check-in.

If the security deposit option is selected, no money will be taken unless damage is reported at the property within 7 days after departure.



There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.



No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.



There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.



A small pet may be considered at the owners discretion – Pet fees will apply.



Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.



Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.
