This was the most amazing stay I have ever had in a rental. The house is gorgeous with plenty of room to spread out. It was also huge with multiple areas to relax and spread out. The decor is charming and vintage. Every window has a view of sprawling green pastures and trees. It's private and felt like home from the first night we were there. The hosts responded immediately to all of our needs. I highly recommend the hosts and the property. We are already talking about planning a family gathering there again in the future.

We loved the kitchen with all the needed equipment to make several "gourmet" meals. The house was clean and very welcoming. We very much enjoyed the quiet and serene surroundings. This was a great house for our family. Plenty of space for everyone, very clean throughout, and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet location. Property is convenient to wineries, Monticello, and Montpelier. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful autumn weekend

This quiet and very well decorated farmhouse is in the lovely orange county. We stayed there during the recent steeplechase race. It would be a perfect venue for wedding functions and trips to Vineyard. I highly recommend this property.

Peaceful

The farmhouse and surrounding land was peaceful and gorgeous. We were there for a family wedding in nearby Somerset. We had plenty of room for all the cooks in the kitchen and enjoyed the views from every window and porch! We even saw the northern lights one night!

Engagement weekend

Our family traveled to Virginia to celebrate the surprise engagement of our son. The Wildwood Farm home was absolutely perfect for our 4 generation family of 7, plenty of space and just a beautiful location. The hosts were very accommodating and accessible if we needed anything. A great break from the city

These owners got it right! Wonderful location, tucked back where you can actually see real stars (and many) while enjoying time with your guests and a camp fire at the same time. House also made it easy for families with kids. Plenty of living and social space. We will definitely return.

Virginia’s property is beautiful — a rustic farmhouse with plenty of room for friends and family. Our group enjoyed the deck and grill — unfortunately (or fortunately) there was no service/connectivity on the property. We had a great day at Barboursville Vineyard up the street!

We are on the adjoining farm and can be reached by guests through the app, by texting or calling, and with calling our landline in evenings, as you did for the lockbox code. We are less than 5 minutes away and farmers are sometimes on the farm at Wildwood and can pop right over in the four wheeler, the tractor or the truck!
