Beautiful home, great location. Pool is great. This home is regularly lived in and not an empty vacation rental. This doesn’t necessarily take away from the stay, but different from other vacation rentals I’m used to. Scott was friendly and welcoming.

Everything about the stay was top notch. Great home with great areas to eat and congregate, Awesome outdoor area. The home is fantastic with a great location to the interstate and restaurants. The communication process with the host was top notch and took great care of all needs.

Thoughtful and Responsive Host

Scott was very responsive and took care to make sure we had a smooth checkin process and had all our needs met. He even had an electric pump waiting because he knew we were there for the pool and probably had inflatables.

Wonderful Location

This property is in a wonderful well-groomed neighborhood. We had everything near by from restaurants and grocery stores. The house was very well supplied with spices, and condiments for cooking and grilling we didn't run low on anything. There were a few things that need attention. 1) poor lighting in the master bath. 2) poor lighting in master toilet 3) No ceiling fan in the master BR. Was rather warm in there. 4) master BR bed was uncomfortably hard 5) not enough towels throughout house we had to wash almost daily 6) light bulbs out or lights not working outside back patio 7) not enough pots and pans to cook on Even with these few things being an issue this property is definitely worth staying at.

Great house and location

was in Houston for the final 4 games with 7 friends. this house was perfect for our needs. hanging by the pool. cooking out. walking on the beautiful Memorial Park Trail. Scott was so easy to work with - great and quick communications on any questions - he even brought warm doughnuts to us one morning! we loved that we could walk to some restaurants, starbucks and the ice house for a beer. highly recommend the home and host. p.s, the coffee pot is a keurig so bring pods! the kitchen was nicely equipped including an array of spices etc.

Nice house in a central location with enough room comfortably for all 5 of us. Very well maintained

We had a lovely stay and this house was just what we needed for 5 of us; fun features like a putting green and air hockey, and a pretty Christmas tree. Great attention to detail.

Weekend trip

Not being too familiar with Houston, I took a chance on this listing. I lucked out!! Centrally located, seemed like everything we needed was so close! Beautiful house, clean pool, friendly and helpful property manager! Couldn’t have asked for more

50th Anniversary

Fantastic place for our 50th Anniversary celebration with family. Enough room for all and perfect spot for multigenerational get together. Host was readily accessible and even came by to help us since we are not "technology fluent". Great weekend!

Well Located and Well Appointed Houston Home

My parents, husband, two boys and I had a marvelous week at this Houston home near Memorial Park. The pool was perfect for keeping the kids (and some grownups) entertained in the Texas heat. The location seemed to be no more than 15 minutes away from anything. We were perfectly located for trips to the Nature Conservancy Museum of Fine Arts, the Galleria, great Tex-Mex and the zoo. We highly recommend!

Weekend Getaway

The location of the home was great, close to local shopping and nightlife. The host was amazing, was always available and stayed in contact if anything was needed. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Excellent property in a great location.

This was by far the best experience that I have had with VRBO. The house is beautiful. Communication with the owner was great and it is in a great area. None of the guests in my party had anything negative to say. 5 Stars all across the board!!!

What's in a name?

   WHAT'S IN A NAME? I write this review reluctantly, but truthfully, to aid the owner and to help other renters make an informed decision. #l Cleanliness - Special cleaning procedures due to the CoronaVirus were supposed to be in place, in addition to the regular cleaning. And, it was due to the CoronaVirus that we decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary by renting a luxury home with pool and gathering our family there to be safe as possible. It was a hard first day as I spent it cleaning this home, including a food-encrusted glass dining room table which had been covered up with a "bedspread". #2 Accuracy of Listing- I feel that listing this property as a LUXURY  rental is really stretching the truth quite a bit. This property is quite run down and has items which do not work i.e. main overhead shower in "spa" bathroom does not have a handle to turn it on and the other shower head leaks constantly; electric lounge chair in family room does not work;  burner on gas stove does not light and is a safety hazard; can't use garbage disposal, roller off chair, moldy pillows on outside lounge, backyard gate falling apart, etc. The pool is adorned along one side with lovely high weeds and dead plants in pots . None of these examples show up in the pictures or the listing description. The kitchen is the worst "luxury" - cramped, chipped pottery dishes; pans have seen better days; minimum countertop space; faucet won't retract, microwave in cabinet with hole and metal strips visible, no trim out. There is definitely nothing luxury about this kitchen.  #3 Location & Neighborhood - House is located on a corner lot, with one side on a very busy street. Backyard activities are accompanied by zip-zoom of traffic. Behind the property you hear saws running, hammering, loud conversations - construction.  Summary: Cleaning is sub-standard and Special Coronavirus cleaning is questionable. Luxury is very questionable. I feel that this may be an average home.  Just because a residence is large does not make it luxury. And counting a Futon as a bedroom is crazy.

Family

The experience will be one to remember because everyone got to enjoy in their own way and we got to enjoy collectively. The kids had swimming, toys, movies, and video games, and the adults had the pool, music, barbecue , and the other amenities of the house. Super location for everyone.

Location is amazing

my family and I are doing some renovations to our home, so we needed a place to stay for about a week. We live in Southwest side of Houston, so extremely familiar with restaurants, parks, etc that we enjoy. And we have done a few "staycations" in Houston before. This is hands down best location we have stayed compared to others. Anything you want is only minutes away. We brought our bikes with us and stored in garage so we could ride at Memorial, and later at Allen Parkway. we had food delivered to the house from some of our favorite places, and they were all only minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Kids got in it daily. Scott was great to work with, and answered all questions extremely quickly.

Beautiful spacious home where you can dine together, sit by a beautiful pool, enjoy an outdoor barb que or walk to the Best restaurants in town. Uber almost anywhere you need for less than $10.00. If you have a reasonable request we will make it happen.

Enjoy Houston without the traffic. This house is so centrally located you never have to get in traffic. Travel Downtown and Galleria only two traffic lights to both places. Home is spacious and great for dinners with 6 to 8 people
