LA LOCACIÓN
Excelente, listo para mudarse a casa en Harding Heights! Ubicado en el corazón de Houston. A cinco minutos del centro, a siete minutos de la Galería, a quince minutos del Corredor de Energía. Altos techos, pisos de travertino y madera noble, amplias escaleras, elegantes columnas, nichos de arte, impresionantes trabajos de acabado, molduras de techo y elementos empotrados en todas partes.

El espacio interior
La cocina de isla de concepto abierto con mostradores de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, hornos dobles y barra de desayuno se abre a la sala de desayunos soleada y al estudio amplio con chimenea en las esquinas y paredes de ventanas; comedor formal con barandilla; gruta de vino / bar con hermosas puertas de hierro forjado; todos los 4 dormitorios y sala de juegos arriba; El refugio principal cuenta con una acogedora chimenea, balcón privado, armario palaciego y lujoso baño. Garaje para dos coches; Fácil mantenimiento, patio cercado con patio cubierto también!
Tienes acceso a toda la casa a excepción del garaje.

Very Nice House in Great Location!

Booked this beautiful home and found that the listing was very accurate. Great location to visit any area of the city. Restaurants, bars, grocery and shopping stores within walking distance. Host was great and responds quickly to any requests. Will definitely book again!

This property was just as described, what a wonderful place! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating! There were 8 adults in my group, the house was the perfect size with a feeling of home and we all slept comfortably. Next time we are in Houston we are definitely requesting to stay here again!

Enjoy our stay

A beautiful house. I love the interior, the decor and the staircase. Spacious. We only stayed for 2 days so it was adequate for what we needed. There are minor details that could make it better such as a hairdryer, and other amenities. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely place.

Pros: spacious, good location, safe neighborhood, well stocked pantry with appliances, nice towels, clean house except for the cockroaches. Cons:Houses are very close, so dogs are barking from as early at 6:30-8:00am to as late as 11:30pm. 3 out of 7 smoke detectors were not working, two of them had just wires hanging down and one was just dead but was intact. Kind of scary since the houses are so close. Owner had someone come fix it the next day. Cockroaches were found. Dead and alive. Owner said he could come spray but we were reluctant to be exposed and we left the next day. Refrigerator water dispenser is inoperable and sprays everywhere. Use bottled water. Oven control panel has been damaged and it’s hard to figure out how to use it. Two of the three beds creaked and squeaked when moving in bed.
2 smoke detectors wires hanging with no detectors. 1 was also not working so total of 3 of 7 not working
Dead American Cockroach identified by goggle search. Live one was too fast to get picture

This was the worst guest we have ever experienced. It started with them contacting us in the middle of the night about a dog (not our dog) in the neighborhood barking. Not sure what they expected us to do about that. Then everyday it was something different. I think they were just trying to get a free stay. We have been on Air BNB & VRBO as super host for 8 years & have never encountered a guest as difficult.

Home Away from Home…And Then Some

If this is one of your Top 3 selections to decide of staying while you’re in Houston, Make this your #1. The neighborhood alone is quaint. Surrounded by everything. Parks. Restaurants. Stores. Minutes from downtown. And surrounding areas. And the home itself. A resort away from home. Enough space to beyond comfortably fit a family of 7. Beautifully designed home w/ high ceilings, large bedrooms and bathrooms and sitting areas. This review could easily turn into an ad to sell the home. Kitchen had what you required. And we love cooking and it provided the space and ambiance. I could go on (especially about the primary shower…Amazing) After a long day with family or friends, it was such a comfort to return to a home so comfortable. And the host was so responsive and kind. This will be our Houston, home away from home.

Awesome stay

First thing that comes out is the house is located in a very nice neighborhood and I didn’t have many issues with the property other than the tv not working properly and the occasional trouble with toilet not flushing properly and the shower in the master bedroom leaks out on the floor if you let the shower water run on the glass door. I don’t think it’s anything major it just needs to be fixed. I don’t want anyone to think that the house was bad or anything like that but those little things like the leak under the sink in the kitchen can make it seem worse than it was. I loved the house and how beautiful it looks and Mr.John was a awesome host and my family really enjoyed the house and appreciate him letting us use his property and I will definitely recommend and rent from him again thank you very much for sending help when we called and we appreciate your help. The property is a very beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk around and be safe and it is walking distance to shopping and eating places. Next time I’m in town I will definitely be looking forward to staying there again. Great place to stay.

The property was great, but with a few cosmetic issues. Property manager was great up until towards the end of my stay when he didn’t answer, nor return my call. Major issue was the ceiling leaked all week that looks like from upstairs, but I couldn’t tell the property manager, because that’s when he didn’t answer nor return my call. The beds in the secondary rooms were smaller than advertised. Many light bulbs need to be replaced throughout home. TV’s in only two rooms of the four, and the one in the master bedroom is much too small, and a very bad picture. I was there for a conference, and had plenty of evening time to watch tv, so that wasn’t good. Very few channels on the tv, so I was thankful to have had my fire stick. It was however stocked very well with toiletries.

Business stay

Online appearance was impressive. Actual experience was lacking in places. Nicely spacious house, but when we opened drawers and cabinets little 6-legged creatures would sometimes scurry about. Definitely needs a pesticide treatment. At least they were not big 6-legged creatures. We struggled to use the oven due to its control panel having been melted by a previous guest that must’ve been broiling or cooking extremely hot with the door cracked open, because it had burnt up the control cover, it needs to be replaced. Worst of all though was the king-sized bed in the master bedroom. In addition to terrible pillows, the box springs under the top mattress was very noisy when getting on the bed or when trying to reposition my sleeping position. Finally, the host was 2-hours late in responding to us, after we’d arrived at the house to check-in, so that we had to either sit in a rental car and wait or go find something else to do on a Sunday evening. Oh, one more thing the tv channel selection was awful. They need to seriously upgrade their tv package. Would I stay here again? Not likely, I’d explore to see if I couldn’t find a better maintained property. I wish I could’ve posted a glowing review, but I couldn’t lie to other potential guests. If these items were corrected, then I could give the glowing review I’d hoped to submit.

Chris, Thank you for your stay with us. I gave you 5 stars because the house was left in great condition. Thank you for that. In response to your review if there were issues why wouldn’t you reach out & let us so that any and all could be corrected. One thing I’ve realized in business & life is it’s impossible to meet someone’s needs if you don’t know what they are & you can’t please everyone. In response to the issues . 1. We apologize if there were 6 legged creatures. We have all of our homes exterminated monthly. This is our first time hearing of this from anyone. We had guest before you and after you with no complaints & we inspected and saw no evidence. Notification at the time or pictures would have helped. 2. We agree on the control panel on the oven & will have that replace. 3. We examined the pillows & there were a few in other bedrooms that Could be replace but in the master were brand new Serra pillows. 4. As far as the house lacking we feel it just didn’t meet your higher than high standards. We have over 200 5 star ratings with AirBNB & VRBO but we understand that we will not please everyone. In the future let the host know so they can correct any issue. 5. You are correct it took me 2 hours ro respond to your msg no excuse that should not have happened.

Good location, good value but..,

The only problem was a ceiling leak from the upstairs master shower to the kitchen table below. This happened to be where I set up my work space. No damage was done to my equipment but it’s not something I anticipated in a rental.

Not the best but it worked

The good; it was quiet, location was good, pictures were accurate. The bad; a bit worn and furnishings could have been better but that being said, the photos did reflect this. The place generally shows it’s wear. It served its purpose for a quick trip into Houston however.
