Great location and wonderful accomodations!

Great location close to restaurants, bars, and shopping, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The owner was easy to work with and the staff was great. We will stay here again for sure!!

Super clean, easy walking to beaches, shopping, nice pools, relaxing location. Vrbo had it lised as 2 bedrooms, but its just 1 and a living room with futon. Still worked for our situation. Kitchen utensils were a little sparse.

Loved our stay!

Very clean, loved everything about it. Great location. We walked from the ferry and were in walking distance all around the north end. I would 100% stay again.

So peaceful!

This property was wonderful. I loved the location ... so easy to the ferry (important when lugging luggage! Easy to walk to North Beach. The property was clean and I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

So Pleased

This was our first time visiting Isla Mujeres and Villas San Miguel. We were very pleased with the location, the cleanliness, the esthetics, the comfort and the staff. The owner Keith, was always prompt in returning answers to any questions or concerns. We would highly recommend considering this property. We stayed in the Saltillo unit. I don't think there is a bad view from any of the units. Woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. It was such a nic place to come back to after a day at the beach or exploring. We'll be back!

This place is an absolute gem. Perfect location. The place is spotless and has everything you need. Housekeeping was excellent! Met the owner and some others staying there and they were all so nice. The most important part for us was the incredible communication from the owner. He answered all inquiries in a very timely manner. A++++++

Perfect spot to easily enjoy everything the North End has to offer!

We've been visiting the lovely island of Isla for 15 years, staying in various locations across the island. Villa Saltillo, located on the Caribbean Malecon (Seafront Walkway), is ideally situated for walking from the ferry, beach areas, shopping, and enjoying the numerous restaurants and bars around the north end. Keith and his team do an amazing job ensuring the villa is clean; customers are well-informed of all local activities with quick responses to any inquiries. We would certainly stay at Villa Saltillo again. Thank you, Keith

Great Location

Excellent property with lots of character; beautiful views of the ocean. The pool was a great alternate to the beach and our 9 year old grandson loved it. We had an issue and Keith promptly addressed the problem. The suite was immaculate and we would definitely return.

Great location near Hidalgo Street!

We had a great stay and Keith was very quick to respond to my messages. The condo did have little sugar ants, but we get those in our townhome in Dallas. The property is about a block to the end of Hidalgo street which was convenient. It is also close to a small grocery store. Our kids loved swimming in the two pools. It was quiet and had a nice view of the ocean. We had a great vacation!

Escape the Midwest cold

We came down for a short getaway from Missouri. We have stayed on the island many times but always at north beach. This location is so perfect. Close enough but far enough. We could walk every we wanted to go. We did rent a golf cart but only because we knew of other spots we wanted to reach. The villa was perfect. Well stocked, excellent view, the pools were great. The view is outstanding. 10 out of 10! Hope to book again in March to return!

Wonderful stay.

We stayed in Saltillo Villa for 5 nights and had a great time! The balcony view was awesome, overlooking both swimming pools and the ocean. The sound of the ocean is calming and easily heard here. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed including beach towels. It was nice to be able to freeze water bottles and take out with us...ice cold waters all day! The location was excellent, close to beaches, ferry, shopping, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy...we walked centro easily and it did not take long to learn our way about town. We also rented a golf cart to go exploring the other side of the island. We did a beach day with adult beverages at Captain Dulche and that was just a short taxi ride, $5 each way. The onsite staff that we met were very helpful and kind. Keith checked on us during our stay as well. We love Isla Mujeres and would love to come back to Villas San Miguel.

We had a great time!

The place was clean, private and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. Right in the heart of town and steps away from the ocean. We made breakfast every morning before heading out for the day and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed as far as dishes, pots and pans. I'm used to vacation rentals having essentials like cooking oil but it was no problem to pick some up when we bought groceries at the market a block away. We loved having breakfast on the lanai every morning. We all enjoyed the pool a lot! We used the top pool every day! It was perfect for our boys to swim while we lounged and relaxed. There was daily cleaning available and a person at the desk during the day if we had any questions or needed anything. We had a great experience and hope to come back!

Great stay with baby

Great location with not so much noise and crowds. Just like the pictures. The main street (with all the restaurants and shops) is just 2 blocks away, about a 1-2 min walk. We had an infant with us so location was important. Also, the balcony had a baby safe railing which was important. The building and pools are clean and well kept. The building and the whole island felt safe. There is a parking lot if you rent a golf cart. The back side of building over looks the ocean and the front is a view of a square with a church. From the back you can walk directly out to the board walk. We loved the convenience of it all!! We have already talked about how great this would be to come back AND to invite family/friends to rent out different units. My only con/recommendation is that all dishes are glass. Which is a bummer if you want to have a drink by the pool (or if you have a small child). So bring plastic cups or buy from grocery store across the street.

Amazing stay with friends

Booked this VRBO for a short trip with a friend. This was our first visit to Isla Mujeres and the location and amenities at Villas San Miguel were perfect for us. Location: easy short walk from the ferry. Easy walk to playa Norte and all the shops and restaurants in the playa Norte area, but just far enough removed from the busy area that the apartment was very peaceful. Loved that our windows faced the ocean and we could hear the waves crashing. Amenities: we enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning. There was coffee and powder milk packets stocked and a coffee machine. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels stocked when we arrived. Friendly staff who pretty much left us alone but were always available if we had a quick question or needed anything. There was a large filtered water jug which is so convenient and helpful and meant we didn’t need to buy lots of plastic water bottles during the trip (bring your refillable water bottle from home!). The pools were both well maintained and never crowded (no kids while we were there). We rented a golf cart for two days and appreciated that there was an off street parking area. The shower always had hot water and good water pressure. WiFi was pretty good, no complaints. We weren’t working during this trip though. Overall an excellent value and a place I will recommend to any friends or family who are visiting Isla in the future.

Wonderful Quiet Retreat

Just outside of the hustle and bustle this place allows you to have the best of both worlds. We had a choice to enjoy the quiet quaintness of the Villas and pools on property or walk a block to Hidalgo street for the hustle and bustle of shopping and restaurants or take a short walk to North Beach. We did all three! Great stay!

Great location

Villas San Miguel is an ideal location on Isla Mujeres. We loved being right on the walkway/ Caribbean ocean side. Going to see turtles laying eggs at night and the beach was right there! Close to playa norte, avenida Hidalgo for shopping and restaurants, and the small grocery store Super Aki. Easy to take a taxi or rent a golf cart to explore the rest of the island and punta sur. The pool was well maintained and great for the kids and cooling off in the heat of the day. Staff was really nice. The units we stayed in (Saltillo on the second floor, Palenque on the ground floor) were clean enough. Understanding that this is the Caribbean, and they are very common here, we did see cockroaches the last few nights of our stay. It was really hard to sleep after seeing them, especially for the kids. Staff did their best to get rid of them when we told them.

Great stay

Isla mujures is the place to be! Forget about cancun and the all inclusives. Stay on the island eat the food here from the locals! Best beach also, playa norte! this place was a dream especially the pool.
