Acerca de este alojamiento
Vacation Home in Castro Marina (Lecce)
La Casa di Lucia is a recently renovated apartment. It is located in a strategically ideal area, allowing you to reach the beach, the marina center, and the historic village on foot in just a few minutes. Very functional, the apartment consists of two bedrooms, one of which is a very spacious double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, air conditioning, and a TV. The other bedroom has two single beds that can be converted into a double bed upon request. The apartment is equipped with ceiling fans that ensure pleasant ventilation and a cool atmosphere. A large dining room, also equipped with ceiling fans, features an adjoining sitting area where you can relax, perhaps while watching TV. Spacious bathroom featuring a shower stall, bidet, sink, and toilet. The kitchen also offers a spacious and convenient electric oven in addition to the stovetop. The apartment is equipped with a washing machine, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. It is located very close to the scenic road that provides easy access to the most beautiful towns in the Salento region. Heading northwest, Santa Cesarea—a town famous for its thermal baths—is just a 5-minute drive away. Continuing for another 5–6 km, you’ll arrive at Porto Badisco, home to the landing site of “Aeneas,” and then, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, you’ll reach Otranto. If, on the other hand, you decide to head south from Castro, after about ten km you’ll reach Tricase, then Leuca, and finally Gallipoli. Lecce, the provincial capital, is about 40 km from Castro. Castro, known to all as the “Pearl of Salento,” is one of the “most beautiful villages in Italy.” Its crystal-clear waters and caves—Zinzulusa, Romanelli, Palombara, and many others, some accessible only by sea—have captured the hearts of all who have had the chance to spend an unforgettable vacation there. In the evening, the “piazzetta” in the Marina, together with the “promenade,” offers a truly unique spectacle. Castro isn’t just about the sea—it’s also about history, culture, and so much more. From the “Borgo di Castro,” you can take in a breathtaking view. A visit to the castle, with its vast halls, is practically a must. Of particular interest are the recent excavations that have unearthed a statue of the goddess Minerva dating back to the second half of the 4th century B.C., carved from Lecce stone in the Messapian style. We’re ready to offer you this and much more—are you? …
