The Culloden Battlefield, one of Scotland’s most significant historic sites, is also close at hand and provides a moving insight into Jacobite history. Clava Cairns is also nearby, it gained popularity after featuring in ’outlander’ it’s a well preserved pre-historic burial site dating back over 4000 years. There is also an excellent pub/restaurant 1.2 miles away, offering food and drinks, conveniently located next to Culloden Battlefield. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the surrounding area offers endless opportunities for walking, cycling, and exploring the scenic Highland landscapes, from the rugged Cairngorms to the picturesque Moray coastline.
