Guests can walk or cycle straight from the door, explore nearby Kielder Forest, or spot local wildlife including red squirrels, deer, wild goats, and ospreys. By night, the skies reveal a glittering canopy of stars, as the area sits within Europe’s largest International Dark Sky Park. For those seeking extra excitement, Tarset Tor can arrange activities such as horse riding, fishing, quad biking, survival courses, and golf tours. Facilities on site add even more to your stay, with a barbecue and fire pit, woodland bar, sauna, bird hide, drying room, cycle store and bike wash, pool table, and a 5-a-side football pitch.
