Casa de playa aislada, ideal para largos días en la playa. Tiene servicios básicos; abrir plan de la planta baja baja: cocina, salón y comedor, 3 dormitorios. Un dormitorio tiene una cama litera., 8 plazas, baño completo y medio baño. Ubicado a una cuadra al este de Montauk Village, en una reserva natural esquina sur-este de Montauk Hwy & S. Etna Ave en un cuarto de acre. 5 minutos a pie de la playa y la ciudad. Dos cubiertas, una fuera de las puertas correderas de la cocina, y una terraza superior con vistas. Patio lateral. Great location!

Great location- private, secluded and quiet but a 5 minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minute walk to town. Our family had a great stay! Comfortable, clean, spacious , and had all the ‘basics’ you need for a great stay. Would come back!

About a 10 minute walk to beach and town. Nice outdoor area and everything was there you could need. Host was very helpful and check in was seamless. Highly recommend this property!

Amazing Memorial Day weekend

We go to Montauk every year for Memorial Day Weekend. This year at Karen’s house we had an amazing time. The house is walking distance to the beach and to town. We look forward to booking here again next year!

Perfect location and responsive host

This location could not be more ideal. You are a perfect distance to the beach, downtown, and ubers will come in less than 5 minutes because of highway proximity. Karen was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We’re already dying to book it again!!!!!

Perfect location

I stayed here with friends over July 4 week and we'd love to rent this house again. It's on a quiet street but an easy walk to town, and a 5 minute drive to Ditch Plains beach. Only one room has air conditioning, with the king bed, but the fans were enough to get us through July evenings.

Hi! I am so glad that you enjoyed staying in our home! We do have the air conditioner in the bedroom but we also have central Air. I am wondering whether it was not working or it was not on. I am sorry if this made your stay uncomfortable.

Property was clean, everything was ready for occupancy except for the toaster, which did not work. Weve been there before and we will try to go their again next year. The only problem was we were not furnished with the proper access code at the time of arrival that controls the front door lock. We should have had this way ahead of time & not have to worry about being locked out, which happened. Thankfully my daughter was with us & she (with more patience than myself) was able to get the code...after an hour of wondering if we would have to spend the night in our cars.

We had the best time at Karen’s house! It was perfectly situated walking distance to town and the beach and a short Uber from everything not walking distance. House was perfect for our group and Karen was super responsive and helpful! Would absolutely stay again! Thanks Karen!

A lot of inaccuracies in the listing - although great location, close to town and beach.

We chose this property because the location was perfect - close to town and the beach. What we did not expect was less than halfway through our stay - we were out of clean bath towels. I reached out to the owner to ask if there was an option to have clean towels swapped out, since the house does Not have a washer/dryer. Surprisingly I was told by the owner that we were to reuse bath towels and enough towels for the whole week could not be supplied. The listing clearly said towels were provided (that to me means enough towels for the entire stay). The home sleeps 8, therefore there should be clean towels for all guests for the week. In addition to the bath towel shortage, there was only 1 hand towel provided in the bathroom and 1 in the powder room - we were also expected to reuse those for a week.. As far as kitchen towels, not 1! As a property owner/host, if you cannot provide enough towels for your guests for their entire stay, you should be clear about that so guests can pack additional towels. It’s unsanitary to expect towels be used repeatedly. In addition, toilet paper and paper towels were also listed as provided by the owner - there was 1 roll in each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. In the listing it clearly states toilet paper and paper towels provided. Again, misleading. Thanks to an inaccurate list of contents provided in the house, we had to add shopping for necessities to our vacation agenda (which could have been avoided if the listing was correct). Sadly - this could be a good rental if a little bit of care went into the listing and details to make this one more comfortable. It’s a quaint beach house, definitely needs some tlc and attention to non functioning light switches, outlets, sliders, cabinets, etc, but I’m not someone to give up hygiene and reuse towels multiple times. Be honest about what’s included in your rental - with a higher cleaning fee than most rentals, it’s the least you can do!

After checking in Gina called us about our bath towels. She expected a fresh towel for each guest daily. Her group of 8 was staying 7 days, that’s 56 towels! She insisted that reuse of towels was unsanitary, there are many studies to the contrary. Reuse of towels is common policy in major hotel chains as well as rental properties in efforts to minimize environmental impact. Another good reason for reuse of towels is simply cost. If fresh towels were provided each day for every occupant rental fees would be significantly more. In 18 years this is the first complaint we've had on the towels. We typically provide enough paper products for several days as we have varying group sizes and durations of stay. Most are happy to get a few more rolls as necessary when going into town to stock the fridge. All light switches and outlets are functional, switches control several items including high hats, outdoor lighting, ceiling fan, etc.. There are switches in the bedrooms that control outlets where lighting is plugged in, occasionally it happens that the lamps are unplugged by previous guests. Vacation is golden and we strive to provide everything necessary for a great stay in Montauk. Please look at our overall rating, other reviews and compare our rates.

Wonderful experience

This house was perfect for our vacation. Plenty of beds (bedding/towels were clean), plenty of private space for us to work outside (master bedroom deck), and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing food. We even used the charcoal grill (a 1st for us). The house was clean and felt updated. We will definitely try and stay again next summer

great family accommodations

This house is not represented well by the photos. It is clean, much bigger than it looks and updated. No complaints at all. Communication with the owner was great and we were able to check in early. Would definitely rent again. This was our first time renting so close to town and it was a very nice experience. Great to be close to town but just far enough to be quiet.

Great place if you are with a group of friends or family. Five-minute walk into town and to the beach. The rooms were simple but clean and pleasant. While it is close to the main road I was not bothered by any noise.

Great location

Very clean. Great house and bed set up was perfect for kids. Small for two families (4 adults, 3 children 5.6,&8, and 2 dogs), but we would rent again with just our family. Almost gave 4 stars because towels were limited (3 total were there). I’m sure if I asked Karen we could have been issued more, but we have local family that we borrowed from :)

Great Weekend

My friends and I came to stay at Karen's property this past weekend. The booking was so easy, Karen was very communicative and answered all of our questions. I feel like the photos don't do the house justice. It is updated and beautiful. The location was prime- an eight minute walk to the beach and to town. I loved the fact that it was so close to town. Close to Beach

We had a fantastic stay. The house was great and in the perfect location, you can walk to the beach & town. 3 bedrooms can sleep 6-8 (if small children) comfortably. House had all we needed. I might add a pan for cooking, there was only one, but equipped w/ all other kitchen items, bathroom items & some towels provided as well. Nice back deck w/ 2 tables, upper deck off master bedroom so nice! We loved this house & will be back for sure! Owner communicated well & the process was easy! Thank you!
