Welcome to your peaceful Tunbridge Wells retreat. This beautifully refurbished 2-bed ground floor flat sits on a quiet private road surrounded by pine trees, just 0.5 miles from the railway station and high street. Thoughtfully furnished to a high standard, the property offers stylish living spaces and is fully equipped to suit long stays with wifi and private parking. Perfect as a base for relocations, insurance claims, and for those exploring the Garden of England.

Inside, a cosy separate kitchen leads out into the dining/lounge area with a brand-new smart TV with Netflix, streaming services, and super-fast Wi-Fi for home working. There are no stairs in this flat and additional accessibility aids can be requested pre stay (bath steps, grab handles, extra large button TV remotes, toilet handles etc).

You could not get a better position with free parking in front of the flat and a separate lockable garage (available on request). It’s tucked away position on a private road with means there’s hardly any road noise, making it perfect for long term stays and those looking for a good night’s sleep in central Tunbridge Wells.

It has two bedrooms, one twin room with 2 single beds and one double room with a double bed with up-market mattresses for a great night sleep. The family bathroom has a w/c, sink, and shower over the bath.

Location
This quiet flat is in a small, friendly building on the ground floor on a residents-only private street less than a 5-minute walk to Tunbridge Wells railway station, with 1 parking space plus a garage. Tunbridge Wells High Street is also within 5 mins on foot with numerous independent cafés, restaurants, art shops and other quirky shops. At the top of the high street, the Royal Victoria shopping centre offers a range of modern shops and amenities.

Royal Tunbridge Wells is widely renown as one of Kents’ most popular tourist attraction towns to visit thanks to its grand architecture with wide tree-lined avenues and a well preserved historical quarter. Situated in the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty, the beautiful spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is considered a very affluent area, well-known for its world-famous gardens, fairy-tale moated castles, and mellow country manors, making it a must-visit amongst locals and day-trippers alike.

Tunbridge Wells is only 30 miles south of central London with good motorway access to reach the City by car in less than an hour. It’s railway station also provides a direct service to London Charing Cross in 54 minutes making it popular for commuters seeking a break from the noise of the city.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and kitchenware (2025), there is 4 spot hob, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, kettle , and toaster. Plus everything from pots pans, pizza cutters, mixing bowls and all you need to cook in your home.

Dining and Living Space
This large lounge-dinner has a dining table with 4 comfy chairs with dining space set for four people.

This quirky contemporary design lounge area has everything you might need for a long-term stay and to get nice and comfortable with two new sofas. The 40” smart TV gives access to streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, ITV Hub, Disney Plus and hundreds of different channels.

Bathroom WC
This spacious bathroom has a W/C, with shower and bath and is equipped with the quality soaps, towels that you would expect.

Cleaning and Laundry
The house also includes a complete range of cleaning and laundry items including iron, clothes drying rack, hoover and cleaning items etc. plus a washing machine in the kitchen and items stored in a cupboard in the hallway.

Double Bedroom
Complete with a brand-new double bed and a top of the range mattress, and clothes rack and hangers. This bedroom also has a mirror and sink in the corner.

Twin Bedroom
This second bedroom (twin) is refreshingly large with two single beds and lots of space -complete with a brand-new top of the range mattress, and places to hang your clothes.

Parking
This property comes with one space at the back of the building as well as a private lockable garage located a 2 minute walk up the road in Rosehill Gardens. Please get in touch with us beforehand if you would like the garage too.
Guest Access
You will have access to the entire property with keys from a lockbox outside the property.

Other Things to Note
Once you have made your booking you will receive a confirmation email including access and arrival instructions and full directions. There are large refuse bins outside at the front of the property through small gate at to throw away and recycle all your waste as you wish. We look forward to welcoming you to this unique and special property.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We have always loved Tunbridge Wells, I (Leon) was born there and have lived in many towns across Kent, but T wells remains my favourite. Firstly, the surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful, with the rolling hills of the Weald dotted with quaint villages and cosy English pubs. The town itself has stunning architecture and is know by locals as an especially affluent area attracting an excellent range of shops and restaurants. London is less than an hour away by train or car, so it's a nice spot to stay while exploring the wider region.

Clarence road is a lovely, private road less than a 2 minute walk to Tunbridge Wells High Street and train station. Even though it's right in the centre of town, it's lined with pine trees making it a surprisingly peaceful spot to stay. The property also has it's own parking space which is rare for central Tunbridge Wells and for those who value accessibility, the apartment is on the ground floor with no steps inside the home.
