Damage Protection & Guest Verification
We use SuiteOp, a trusted third-party platform, for guest verification and damage protection.
All guests are required to complete this simple process before check-in, which includes:

We kindly ask guests to complete damage protection by selecting one of the following options: (Your choice of either a refundable damage deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver)
A refundable security deposit of £250, returned after your stay (subject to no damage being reported), or
A non-refundable damage waiver of £60, which covers up to £250 in accidental damage.
You’ll receive a secure payment link shortly to complete your chosen option ahead of your arrival. This step helps us prepare everything for a seamless check-in and ensures peace of mind for both parties.

🕰 Late Departure Fee: £50 if checkout is delayed without approval

The Captain`s Quarters is self-catering accommodation. We provide the essentials to get you started, such as a small supply of toilet rolls, kitchen basics, and toiletries. For longer stays or if you run out during your visit, you’re welcome to top up as needed. House rules: No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of waste responsibly.
Noise: Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.
Maximum Guests: The maximum number of guests allowed is 4. Please do not exceed this limit.
Cleanliness: Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it and dispose of rubbish in the designated bins in the basement (take lift to -0)
Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay. Please report any issues immediately.
Parking: Free parking for one vehicle in a secure carpark just a minute walk - (max headroom 2.05m 6`7)
Internet Use: Wi-Fi is available for your convenience. Please use it responsibly and refrain from illegal activities.
Emergencies: In case of an emergency, dial 999. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit are located in the kitchen. Please make us aware of any items used so they can be replaced
Please Note: The Captain`s Quarter is self-catering accommodation. We provide a small starter pack of essentials, such as toilet rolls, hand soap, and kitchen basics, to help you settle in. For longer stays, or if you run out during your visit, you can top up your supplies at the nearby The Co‑Operative Food, just a minute walk, next to Ship & Trades Pub, or The Range at Dockside shopping centre opposite
Damage Protection & Security Deposit
Reservations require either:
A refundable security deposit of £150–£350 (depending on the property reserved), taken as an authorisation hold.
Or a non-refundable damage deposit/waiver (amount depending on the property).
If you choose the security deposit option, please note:
Our payment processor only allows us to hold the authorisation for 7 days.
For stays longer than 7 days, this hold will be renewed.
We capture the security deposit 3 days prior to check-in.
