As you step inside, you’ll be mesmerised by the original features and homely feel of this cottage. Spend cosy evenings by the wood burner on the plump sofas in the lounge. Cook a special meal for your loved ones in the farmhouse-style kitchen with pamment flooring, a fitted ‘L’-shaped unit, and a dining table with chairs. Also on the ground floor is a double sofa bed in the hallway plus a separate WC. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a double and a twin zip-and-link. The enclosed garden has a patio, decked area, furniture, sun loungers and a BBQ.

The small village of Colkirk oozes charm and has a cosy local pub (within 0.5 miles). For more dining options plus some shops for picking up essentials, a racecourse and a garden centre, head to the nearby market town of Fakenham (2.5 miles). Set off on an adventure into the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can find the impressive Holkham Estate (13 miles) – here, you can explore the woodland and lake by hiring a bike or strolling into the nature reserve and relaxing on the golden shores of Holkham Beach (14.5 miles).
