The kitchen and dining room flow seamlessly with one another thanks to green and blue tones, while pinks in the lounge work well with neutrals to create a cosy atmosphere. The quiet snug is perfect for curling up with a book in, or the kids might like it as a playroom. Flashes of green in the bathroom gives it a fresh feel, ideal for waking up in the morning, or you could use the stylish rainfall shower in the super-king-size en-suite for a spa-like experience. When it’s time for bed, snuggle into the rooms which all have their unique style and wake up refreshed and ready for a day of adventure.

Head into Southwold (0.5 miles) and enjoy visiting the pubs, cafes and shops. The Denes Beach is great for sandcastles and the Under the Pier Attraction will fascinate everyone! Children will love the Hundred River Farm and Maze (9 miles), while grown-ups might prefer a spot of birdwatching at RSPB Minsmere (11.5 miles) or Dunwich Heath (10.5 miles). And if you want to go for a dip but aren’t brave enough for the sea, head to Beccles Lido (14 miles) where the pool is heated!
