Visit the Lakes Aquarium at Lakeside (2.5 miles), and observe local wildlife in freshwater settings. The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway (3.5 miles) offers nostalgic journeys aboard restored steam trains. Several historic landmarks beckon exploration, including Holker Hall and Gardens, Cartmel Priory, Stott Park Bobbin Mill, Sizergh Castle, and Levens Hall, all conveniently reachable within 11 miles. The medieval village of Cartmel (5 miles) is well worth a visit, nestled within one of England's most breath-taking areas of natural splendour, with its famous racecourse and Michelin star restaurant, L'Enclume. Lake windermere, England's largest lake, is less than 2 miles away.

The panelled sitting room, adorned with dual aspects, exudes brightness and openness thanks to its expansive windows and lofty ceilings. Sink into the comfort of plush sofas and armchairs arranged around coffee tables, complemented by two cosy electric flame effect fires and a generous 49" Smart TV. Wall speakers, compatible with Bluetooth or cable, enhance the entertainment experience, ideal for watching TV or movies. Accessible from the living room, a door leads directly to the garden patio and well-kept lawn. The dining room features a sizable table, perfect for hosting celebratory dinners or accommodating extended family gatherings. The well-equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and ample cupboard space. Ascending from the hallway, the first floor hosts four bedrooms, with an additional two bedrooms on the second floor, each complete with its own TV and en-suite bathroom. Among the accommodations, five bedrooms offer king-size beds and one bedroom is a twin bedroom. Upon request, an extra supplementary bed can be prepared in one of the king-size bedrooms.
Outside, a spacious lawned garden enveloped by mature shrubs and trees provides a serene retreat during warmer seasons, featuring a patio, outdoor seating with a table, and a BBQ for leisurely moments. A shared utility room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and iron is available for use in the neighbouring building.
