This secluded lodge offers an incredibly romantic base for any outdoor adventure-seeking couple, with enviable walking routes on its doorstep, effortless access to the Forest of Bowland, and ever-comfortable interiors to return to after each action-packed day. The property is located on the outskirts of Ribchester, a charming village in the Ribble Valley with a fascinating Roman history, the River Ribble running through it, and a selection of country pubs to enjoy after a long, rewarding walk. Enjoy circular walks from the village or take a short drive to explore the Forest of Bowland AONB further (2 miles). You can hike Longridge Fell (5 miles) or Parlick (8.5 miles) for fabulous views or follow in the footsteps of J.R.R. Tolkien on the renowned Tolkien Trail (4 miles). Also nearby, on the other side of Clitheroe (11 miles), hike the mighty Pendle Hill (17.5 miles) and learn about its witchy history.
This magical cabin sits on the grounds of the owner’s home, yet privacy is assured in its undisturbed location. Open-plan living awaits when you step inside, with a lovely lounge, kitchen, and dining area neatly positioned beneath elegant wooden beams. The wood-fired hot tub sits beneath a sheltered veranda, allowing you to enjoy it even in the cooler months. The entire garden is enclosed, making it safe for pets to play in, and you can wander through the woodlands and down to the river on a warm, sunny day. Private parking is available for 1 car.
