The Space:
Welcome to this perfect countryside retreat - a spacious Victorian home built in 1894 and lovingly modernised to an exceptional standard throughout. Nestled deep in the rolling Somerset landscape, this stunning five-bedroom property blends period character with sleek, contemporary comfort. Whether you're gathering for a family celebration, a rural escape with friends, or simply seeking peace and space, this home offers an idyllic setting for up to 10 guests.
Set within 2.5 acres of private grounds, the house is surrounded by open paddock and lawned gardens, offering tranquillity and uninterrupted views across the countryside. Inside, five beautifully styled bedrooms provide a restful place to unwind - two super kings, two doubles and one twin. Four rooms share two family bathrooms, one with a tiled bath and the other with a large shower, while the impressive master suite boasts its own generous ensuite, seating area and smart TV.
The heart of the house is its bespoke kitchen. A luxurious space fitted with granite worktops, high-end appliances and an island breakfast bar perfect for relaxed mornings. French doors open out to the garden patio, where you’ll find a dining area, loungers and a bubbling hot tub for sunset soaks.
A separate formal dining room offers an elegant setting for long dinners and celebrations, flowing through to a sumptuous living room with a smart TV and keyboard, ideal for movie nights or evening relaxation. Across the courtyard, a dedicated gym/games room and workspace awaits guests looking to balance play, productivity or wellbeing.
Luxury essentials - towels, linens and toiletries - are provided for your comfort. Enjoy ample gated parking with three spaces under a carport. An EV charger is available for your convenience at a cost of £20/charge.
