(6 miles), offering a more traditional, sandy beach that’s a hotspot for surfing and a variety of water sports. The twin villages of Appledore (6 miles) and Instow (7 miles) are also nearby, connected by a passenger ferry during peak summer months. Explore both before treating the kids to a day of fun at The BIG Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park, or the North Devon Wakepark, a fantastic trio of family-friendly attractions.


Whitewashed stone walls, original beams and classic farmhouse charm make this cottage a warm and inviting place to call your own. Step into the longhouse-style lounge/diner, where two distinct areas are separated by a small flight of steps. The lounge is warm and cosy, with comfy seating arranged around a Smart TV and wood burner for restful evenings in. Just up a few steps, the sturdy wooden dining table features bench-style seating – perfect for family mealtimes. Head down to the lower ground floor to find the kitchen, a handy space equipped with all the necessary appliances, including a washing machine, and a utility room opposite the house with a tumble dryer for added convenience. When the day’s adventures are done, retreat upstairs to three bedrooms on the first floor. The largest is a master king-size bedroom, while the smaller two are arranged as a bunk room and a cosy single. All three rooms share a modern family bathroom with a bath and shower for your choice of a soak or rinse.


Step outside to enjoy the pretty scenery of the private garden at the side of the property. Although attached to the owner’s home, care has been taken to ensure your privacy in the furnished patio and lawn area. You’ll also have access to a separate games barn, designed for all ages – a dedicated hangout space for children, teens, and adults alike, with a plush L-shaped sofa, Smart TV, selection of games, a pool table, and a darts board. Private parking for two cars is also provided.


Wildlife lovers will enjoy the surrounding fields, where deer, pheasants, and rabbits can often be seen, and you may even spot the occasional peacock wandering nearby.
