Acerca de este alojamiento
2 Bed in Pwllheli (oc-wag560)
This beautiful and unique gatehouse near Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula makes the perfect rural retreat for couples and small families. The cottage boasts a hot tub in a lovely countryside setting, with a fantastic choice of walks on your doorstep. Stunning beaches and coastal walks are a short drive away. The coastal town of Pwllheli is 4 miles away, and has a marina, several cosy pubs and independent eateries. At the end of the day, dine on the sunny patio or sink into the bubbling hot tub.
The stylish former gatehouse is arranged across one level, and cleverly combines unusual period features with contemporary design. The large lounge is bright and airy, with comfortable seating, a wood burner, and sliding doors opening onto the woodland garden and patio with a hot tub, allowing you to extend the social space outdoors in summer months. There’s also a piano for musical guests to enjoy! The kitchen/diner has everything you need to cater for the group, as well as a breakfast bar for informal dining and an antique dining table. Completing the accommodation is a king-size bedroom and a twin. A sleek bathroom with a free-standing bath completes the holiday home. The outside area is enclosed and has a hot tub on a secluded patio, surrounded by wild gardens and woodland. There’s also a suntrap patio with furniture for al fresco dining.
Head into Pwllheli to wander amongst its narrow streets and peruse the independent shops and boutiques. The town also hosts a popular, open-air market where you can pick up delicious, local produce. Alternatively, while away a lazy afternoon on one of the two south-facing beaches. Nefyn (3 miles), a village on the north coast, also makes a lovely day out. Potter around the maritime museum or perhaps play a round of golf on the famous headland course.
