Baltic Beach Retreat se encuentra en el corazón del distrito creativo de Vibe, a solo 3 calles del famoso paseo marítimo de Virginia Beach. Convenientemente ubicado cerca del Centro de Convenciones, a poca distancia de populares restaurantes, tiendas de surf, una destilería y más, no se quedará sin cosas que hacer o lugares para ver. La sala de estar del primer piso tiene cómodos muebles de cuero y una cocina totalmente equipada junto con un bar y medio baño. El segundo piso tiene un dormitorio con una cama doble y una doble con un nido de pop-up. La habitación también tiene un baño privado completo y un montón de espacio en el armario, y se encuentra justo después de la lavadora / secadora. El dormitorio principal del tercer piso tiene una cama queen y un baño completo, un sofá y una cómoda, así como un balcón al aire libre. Cada habitación tiene su propia televisión y el condominio tiene estacionamiento reservado para 1 vehículo con abundante estacionamiento en la calle cerca.

Volleyball Tournament

This place was fantastic for our family. Our daughter’s tournament was a short walk to the beach and the house provided 2 beach chairs which came in handy. Communication with Chris was very prompt and she was very accommodating.

Great Stay

Our host was very accommodating to any questions or concerns we had. The property was clean and very homey making it easy to stay at. We enjoyed being able to quickly walk to the Convention Center for our event and then to the many restaurants and coffee places in between.

Place was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a group of 4 however, I believe it stays 6 people. Only a 5 min. walk to the boardwalk and all the food and shops you can think of. Hosts were accommodating and communicated very well. Will def. stay there again when we make our way back. Great time and a great condo to stay in.

Great location just steps from places to eat etc. and a short walk to the beach. One bedroom is on the second floor and the one on the third floor is roomy but a loft style so noise from the main floor drifts up. The stairs are very steep - use caution with little ones. Kitchen was nicely stocked with dinner/cookware and an ice machine was a nice addition. We used the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. We had some issues accessing apps on the TV. Overall a nice place.

Top-notch property and location

The property was top-notch and clean. Perfect location for our trip for a sporting event at the convention center and to the beach. The house was beautiful and had everything supplied as in the description. Chris was a very welcoming host and was very easy to work with. Will definitely book again if in the area!

Great property in a fun neighborhood

Great property with close access to the beach/boardwalk area but far enough away to escape from the hustle and bustle. Cool coffee shops, restaurants and breweries in walking distance. Would stay here again!

Great neighborhood within walking distance to the beach

We loved the condo and loved the neighborhood! Everything within walking distance. Amazing food at all of the restaurants. Easy walk to the beach and lots of fun shops! Would definitely recommend this place for families.

Family Fun in Virginia Beach

This was our first time in the area for vacation and this house is really well placed to get to all the fun. We could walk to restaurants and the beach easily. We really enjoyed our stay in the house, plenty of space to spread out with all the comforts of home! Our host was wonderful to work with. Two thumbs up!

Great location and size!

The townhouse has a great proximity to the beach is a huge plus just a short walk, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf whenever you want. The townhouse is also close to a variety of great restaurants and shops, so you’re never far from a good meal or entertainment options. Overall, this townhouse is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a mix of convenience, comfort, and beachside fun. Would highly recommend!

The perfect place

This was our first beach vacation since 2019, and I couldnt have imagined a better place. It’s a short walk from the beach, right next to an amazing brewery that has different food trucks every night, many coffee shops, etc. the place itself was perfect for my parents, my husband dand I , and our 12 year old. I think we may have found our yearly vacation spot!

First time

It was our fist time in Virginia Beach, and we could not ask for a better place to stay. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and you are a few steps away from the beach and boardwalk. The host was very responsive and answered all my questions. Check in and out was easy. My family and I had a very good time and we will definitely be back.

Great stay

The condo is very clean and fully stocked with everything you may need during the stay. Though it doesn’t have kitchen knives if cooking is your thing (there was a small utility knife). It has two beach chairs and a beach umbrella. There is a TV in every room. It’s three blocks away from the beach and the center of the bloardwalk. The communication with the owner is superb. We loved our stay here.

Hi, Sean, I apologize that the bathroom GFI was tripped on your arrival. Thankfully it just took the push of a button to correct. I've since replaced the bathroom outlets to be on the safe side!

Promising, But Problematic

There were things we liked about our stay. E.g., the check-in was easy, the space was ample, and the host was responsive. However, our experience also left a lot to be desired in some respects. 1) We discovered cockroaches towards the end our stay: 2) the faucet for the kitchen sometimes leaked when you turned it on, causing water to run across the counter; 3) we discovered that 1 of the unit's plastic cups was cracked and tossed it out after it leaked milk; 4) the night lights that we thought could help our our boys walk the stairs in case they needed us during the night didn't initially work (to her credit, once we notified the host of this issue, she quickly came and changed the batteries); and 5) the shower on the 3rd floor initially had poor water pressure and and looked to perhaps be a bit dislodged from the wall (when he notified the host, both issues were subsequently responded to and largely addressed). Outside the property, there were also issues. E.g. we dealt with intermittent noise after hours on multiple days during our stay from neighbors & noisy, disruptive construction that seemed to largely arise from a nearby Capital Improvement Project that appeared to have begun in early May 2023 and is expected to take 18 months to complete. B/c of issues like these, I reluctantly requested a night refund for our troubles and have yet to hear back. Hopefully, prospective renters can make make a more informed choice on this unit than were able to. Regards, David

I am sorry you felt your stay was less than 5 stars. We did have a rough start as you tried to cancel just 3 days before checkin. We offered to open the calendar and credit you any days booked. You declined and in your words decided to “scramble on our end and find a way to come down and use the reservation.” Even before you arrived we were rightly concerned about your mindset. We quickly remedied the issues that we were made aware of during your visit. The stairwell night light batteries were replaced within 15 minutes and a plumber was scheduled for the next morning. We were unable to duplicate the “water running down the counter”, but the faucet base did need to be tightened. Regarding the shower, the decorative piece had come away from the wall so to avoid any further issues we replaced the shower head. There was no mention of a problem with water pressure. So yes, the issues we were made aware of were immediately addressed and remedied. As for the bugs you saw as you checked out, we immediately inspected with our cleaner and found no evidence of any. We will continue to monitor as we keep our condo very clean, and are always rated 5 stars on cleanliness. I’m sorry you were disturbed by noise. If I’d known I would have contacted the neighboring owners, as Virginia Beach has rules about quiet hours. All short terms rentals are required to post these for their guests. We strive to provide a comfortable place and have white noise sleep machines in both bedrooms as we like them when we travel. The 18th Street capital improvement project is going to improve sidewalks and bicycle paths throughout the ViBe District. We look forward to the enhancements it will provide for residents and visitors alike. Construction is blocks away and only during normal business hours. I wish we had had the opportunity to discuss all issues during your stay as we work to resolve anything that would make a guest’s stay less than stellar.

This was a great condo for our family!

The condo was very clean, kitchen was stocked with all you needed to cook any meals, paper products and cleaning supplies were included too. My teenage kids loved having the 2nd floor all to themselves. We loved the short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Many great restaurants also within walking distance. Overall definitely a great place to stay!

It is in the Creative Vibe District of Virginia Beach and has cool shops, breweries, a distillery and a Farmers Market (every weekend in the summer). Take a tour of the 20+ murals. There is plenty to do nearby with the Aquarium, Adventure Park, First Landing State Parks, museums and shopping.
