This apartment, where traditional architectural history blends with a vibrant and modern interior design, is perfect for families to create memories.
The imposing original granite stone walls run through the home and are the true soul of the house, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere in the large living room, which invites relaxation with its spacious sofa and reading armchairs.
The social area extends into an open-plan kitchen full of personality, where bright yellow finishes bring contagious energy to the space. It is fully equipped with a stove hob, oven, microwave, spacious fridge, coffee machine, and electric kettle so you can prepare and enjoy your meals in the dedicated dining area.
Comfort extends to the private area, consisting of three harmoniously decorated bedrooms with double beds, two of which have air conditioning, perfect for recharging after a day exploring the city.
The apartment also features modern bathrooms, offering all essential amenities for your stay.
It is important to note that access to the apartment is exclusively via stairs, a feature that preserves the authenticity of the historic building in which it is located, making it unsuitable for people with reduced mobility.

Located in one of the most iconic and scenic spots of Porto, this accommodation offers a unique experience on the south bank of the Douro River, with unparalleled views of Porto's historic Ribeira. The neighbourhood is characterised by its vibrant energy and the cultural richness associated with Port Wine. You will be immersed in the atmosphere of the famous Port Wine Cellars, where history and flavour meet at every corner, providing an atmosphere of celebration and tradition.
Your stay will be enriched by the immediate proximity to must-see attractions. You will be steps away from the dining area and riverside terraces, and a short walk from the D. Luís I Bridge, which you can cross on foot (upper or lower deck) to reach the heart of downtown Porto. On the Gaia side, the Cais de Gaia is an entertainment hub and the ideal starting point for Douro cruises. Across the river, you have easy access to attractions such as the Clérigos Tower and Lello Bookstore, whether on foot, by metro, or by tram.
For those looking to explore the Northern region, this location is an excellent starting point. Thanks to excellent transport connectivity (train and highways), it is easy to take day trips to destinations like Guimarães and Braga (historic and religious cities). For a truly memorable experience, the Douro Valley wine region – a World Heritage Site – is accessible via tourist train or boat, allowing you to discover unique terraced landscapes.
The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.
There are bus stops on the street, with several lines, and the São Bento subway station, is just 650 meters away
Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 21-minute drive from the property.
This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
