Cozy and convenient

Property was cozy, yet it worked just fine for our family of 4. Although it’s on the road to the ski area, it was quiet, especially at night. Location is perfect for Bear Mountain as you can literally walk there and save yourself the parking fees.

Great cabin in a perfect location

This cabin was great for a weekend get-a-way. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had a lot of fun playing the old arcade games on the arcade table they had and we enjoyed using the jacuzzi. The location is perfect, close to Bear Mountain and just a short drive to the downtown village. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

We had a fabulous stay in this cozy mountain getaway! The property was clean, and everything looked just as it does in the photo gallery. It was within a short driving distance from the lake and center of town. We will definitely book this getaway again soon. The people at Village Reservation Service were friendly and very helpful. We had an exceptional experience from beginning to end.

Great cabin, needs cleaning

We had a good time at this lovely remodeled cabin. Jacuzzi was hot, neighborhood very quiet and peaceful, sufficient kitchen ware. Everything was great, but the disgusting pullout couch kind of put a damper on things. It clearly had not been cleaned in some time: lollipop and other trash stuck to the bottom of the mattress. We were planning on using it and needless to say, we did not and had to double up on the bunk beds. I emailed this to the property manager but received no response. They were difficult to get a hold of in general. I inquired about the specific number of cars at least twice via email and voicemail leading up to our trip and never received a response. In short: great cabin, but the management and cleaning staff could be more attentive.

Great place! But hot tub is open to the road :-(

This cabin is much nicer than the listing shows! Beautiful place - well set up. A couple of issues with cleaning - there was trash from the previous renters under the master bed, and a few kitchen knives had food residue. And - the lighter on the grill does not work, and there was no lighter or matches. Hot tub is completely visible from the road . . . But having said all that, I'd go back in a minute!

Comfortable house with excellent location

First and foremost this two bedroom house is located within walking distance of ski lifts and the Alpine Zoo, and only a few minutes from the center of town. We found the living conditions to be clean, quiet, and comfortable, especially enjoying the large hot tub. There were a few minor complaints. One of the front door locks was not latching. The living gas fireplace/heater control was very hard to use and took took us several hours to turn on by repeatedly pushing buttons. There were no instructions for the heater posted and calling the management only resulted in a recording (why not text messaging?). Also the living room convertible sofa was provided with sheets but no pillows or blankets. Other than that, the house was well stocked and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for families or small groups.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property, is prettier than the pictures, very cozy! Our kids live the arcade and hot tub! The Grill outside was great it was clean and had plenty of gas! The house was super clean as soon as you came in it smelled clean! The couches are super Comfy! The tv/Cabe is a little complicated to work but it works is just different! I took an HDMI cable and ended up using my computer to watch shows that I wanted. The water pressure in the kitchen was super low so I recommend using the dishwasher, and the sink in the main bathroom was a li URL’s clogged but nothing huge it still worked! I recommend looking up the number for the rental company and calling them during Covid their communication was not great, but we managed to figure things out! We loved our stay thank you we will come back!

Check in difficult

This is a beautiful spot tucked away from Big Bear lake, surrounded by trees and has a cozy small cabin feeling. Our party never received check in information from the property manager so we had to do some research and contact them ourselves to be able to gain access. Would have liked to get timely access to the rental based on our check-in time. Overall very clean and easy to navigate. Accessible and awesome amenities. Love the hot tub and master bathroom. Would like better communication between property manager and VRBO partnership.

Loved staying here, just prefer a bit more privacy when in hot tub. Also tv hard to operate unfortunately. But I would definitely recommend this cute cabin for the price

Great place

The place is close to town, clean, modern, cozy, and a great getaway. We enjoyed the spa and the fireplace inside. There was plenty of room for 3 adults. While we loved the mountain theme of the house, just beware that the snowboard bench on the front porch is quite unstable. We received good instructions from the mgmt company through email but I couldn’t get ahold of anyone by phone when booking (grant it was during COVID & fires) We would rent this place again!

Great cabin - would rent again!

Absolutely loved this cabin! Great location and the perfect getaway spot for our family. Disappointed the BBQ wasn't working at the time of our stay but overall the cabin was well maintained, well stocked and very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location

We loved the cabin, only but would be the master bedroom mattress wasn’t too comfortable and there was no propane for the bbq. Yet the place was really cozy, couches were comfortable, hot tub was nice to have and we enjoyed the location very much. We would love to stay again sometime.
