Off-grid Unidome escape with Hot Tub and Sauna for stargazing in Devon’s Blackdown Hills
Unplug in a clear stargazing dome at Hartridge Springs in Devon’s Blackdown Hills. Designed for couples or solo travellers, this off-grid Unidome sits on its own purposely separated pitch for privacy, with valley views, a fire pit, and space to sit outside in the open meadow. Inside, you’ll find a cosy sleeping pod with a double bed and bedding, a small dining area with tableware for two, and solar-powered lighting to keep light pollution low (with heating for cooler nights).
This is a nature-led break with big skies and simple comforts, ideal for slowing down and spending your evenings around the fire or watching the stars from the comfort of the dome. You’ll also have optional paid access to the communal wood-fired sauna and a free-of-charge modern shared wash block with hydrotherapy showers. A welcoming pub is around 200m away, and the Jurassic Coast is within easy reach by car for day trips.
