Had to get help getting inside as the batteries were flat for the door code but I was given information to get in and got some batteries for the door. There is as no kettle but we just used the saucepan for tea which was provided with sugar and coffee. The flat was very clean and I would definitely recommend this place. It’s so central to everything.

I feel like the host pulled a fast one. He had 2 units called Trafalgar Suites. My wife and I had rented and paid for one of his Trafalgar suites months before our trip to London after our cruise. At the time, I had been looking at the other Trafalgar suite, but I never reserved the unit. We were on the last few days of our cruise before heading to London. The internet was vrery spotty, I couldn't check email or make calls. While in port I was able to check my email. The host had sent an email saying that payment was due for the Trafalgar suite. It said that there was a deadline to pay. In that moment, I thought that that I must've forgotten to pay for our stay. I went ahead and paid, but when we arrived in London, I realized that I had paid for both suites, Trafalgar 1 and Trafalgar 2 for the same time period. The host would not communicate with me nor would he refunf the 2nd suite. We had trouble entering the building as well as the suite and ran into people trying to do the same as we were leaving or coming back, it was a bit of a nightmare. A married couple there on business said that they were very frustrated with the host as we were.

Location of property is in central area of London to explore which is good news. If you don't care about anything else other than location, then this is right staying location. I wish I could say the same for the actual stay. Constant slamming of heavy main entrance door by others in the appt complex going in and out including during night times. Bedroom is right behind the entrance on the first floor. Host is not reachable by any means - WhatsApp, phone call, email, through Vrbo; you name it -- to answer simple questions. Check in instructions are not through and are provided on the morning of the day stay starts; not sure if this is consistent with Vrbo's policies which I believe is three days prior to start of stay. Back alley shown in the photos is dirty. The stay felt damp and humid as there is no air circulation in the apartment unless you open windows but that is on the ground floor directly looking outside where someone can simply hop in into the apartment. The entire apartment seems to be a rental place. On the plus side, train stations and public transportation is within couple of mins walking distance. Major attractions are also within not too far walking distance if you are visiting London for attractions.

Avoid this place. Check in was a night mare. Key code on outer door not obvious. Code for apartment didn't work so host gave out another code over phone. Entered apartment to find someone else staying there (who were out) so we had access to all their possessions. Phoned host back. He told us we had been given the wrong apartment. No apologies. Told us to go to another apartment downstairs. Lock wasn't working properly. Tried several codes but wasn't going green. Pushed the door while red after several more attempts and it opened but lock was temperamental. There was a piece of paper stuffed in the back of the lock to try and keep the mechanism together. Because we hade been given access to the wrong flat we were concerned others might have access to ours so felt we couldn't leave anything of value in the flat when we went out. We put a chair under the door handle all night as lock wasn't properly operating.. Didn't feel safe and left as soon as we could in the morning. Horrible experience and host has failed to respond to emails sent from Vrbo regarding this after I lodged a complaint.

The apartment was difficult to enter, as the key code system for the outside door kept malfunctioning. The apartment hadn't been cleaned, so the bin was full, plus the bed had not been made & the sheets were dirty with no spares. There were dirty towels on the floor & I had to buy a towel as no clean ones were available. There was no kettle, forks or tea towels. I tried to contact the host several times & still haven't had a response. I have raised a complaint with Vrbo & still waiting to hear. I have stayed in many apartments in Europe & never had such a terrible experience. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Great location and clean studio! Only two towels and they were very musty, and no forks. Wrote to Charles upon arrival and did not hear back during the 5 days we were there. Over all it is fine if you are just looking for a place to sleep.
