We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in the heart of Rome. The location was excellent, making it easy to walk to many of the major attractions within 25 to 30 minutes or less, depending on your pace and the crowds. Having so many historic sites, shops, and restaurants within walking distance made exploring the city very convenient. One of our favorite discoveries was a quaint nearby restaurant managed by Dave, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pizza, bread, and lasagna were outstanding and became our favorite meals during our stay. There were also several shops nearby, and we found a grocery store just a block away when we returned from visiting the Colosseum one evening. The host was very responsive and attentive. When we experienced an issue with the toilet continuously running, they arrived within about an hour and resolved the problem promptly.Future guests may find it helpful to know that there is one air conditioning unit located in the back room. During our stay from September 6th through September 9th, temperatures were quite warm. Guests who prefer a colder sleeping environment should note that the room with the air conditioning unit stays the coolest, while other areas may be warmer depending on the weather and time of year.Additionally, there are approximately 20 stairs leading to the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. This was not an issue for us, but it may be something to consider when carrying luggage or for those with mobility
