En el centro histórico de Roma, una zona habitada continuamente desde la Edad Media hasta los tiempos modernos, Il Monte degli Orsini es un apartamento confortable y refinado de tres habitaciones que pueden alojar hasta seis personas.
Todas las habitaciones disponen de suelo de parqué y techos con vigas de madera, mientras que los azulejos cubren los dos baños (uno con ducha, otro con bañera-ducha) y la cocina con el comedor adyacente. Otra mesa de comedor extensible está en la sala de estar, y seis personas pueden sentarse cómodamente a su alrededor. El salón tiene también un montón de asientos para el descanso.
Todo el barrio es una zona de interés por su laberinto de calles y callejones, pero Piazza Navona es probablemente la principal atracción de esta zona porque todavía hay un montón de las glorias del barroco en y alrededor de la misma. También puede explorar los otros distritos del centro de la ciudad a pie, la mayoría de las atracciones son a una distancia a pie desde el apartamento Il Monte degli Orsini.

Amazing location!

Our travel arrangements changed and we could only stay one night instead of three. Emmanuele was very understanding! We decided to extend our stay in Italy and tack the missing days in Rome at the end of our trip. Though this apartment was not available, Emmanuele helped us find another place. We would stay here again and would absolutely recommend this apartment!! It has all the Italian experiences including the street noise below. We lived in Italy so was prepared for the voices, clinking of glasses and vespas zipping by. We love Rome and would stay here again!!! Thank you Emmanuele!!

Great location/ historic and spacious

So nice to be in a rental that reflects the city and doesn't feel cookie -cutter. Roman beam ceiling mix of antique furnishings and art. Easy check-in/out, responsive management.

Good time, Great city, perfect for us

My aunt planned a 60th birthday in Rome.. I arranged stay.. Everything went well. Easy setup, clean, convenient. Location is good. Its Rome so I hope you like walking. We did and it was perfect for us. We loved the small cobbled streets and atmosphere. If you do not like walking maybe not the place for you. We logged 6 to 10 miles daily. I suspect if you stay here you should expect at least some walking. My mother declined an invitation as she is good for maybe 1.5 miles(3km) a day and in hindsight that was a very good decision.

Great location, good apartment

The apartment was very well located near Piazza Navona, and with excellent restaurants and bars nearby. The recommendations by Sara, and in the booklet in the apartment were very useful (but note that the prices for attractions were severely underestimated or out of date). The accommodation was spacious, although the apartment layout was a little maze-like and unconnected. Small things to take note of: - The lift is great to eliminate the lugging off suitcases up and down - the washer and dryer are communal, so there is a slight inconvenience having to time the loads when you can be around to retrieve them. - although the bath is listed, no plug is provided, so it can’t be used (only an issue as my daughter was looking forward to having a bath for once in her life!) - the location was a little noisy, with activity on the street outside until the early hours of the morning.

The apartment was roomy with 3 large bedrooms with king beds in each room. All of us said how comfy the beds were. The location was nice too. Not too far from taxi stands and Piazza Navona.

Great Location

My family very much enjoyed our stay at this location. We were within walking distance of all the sites and especially close to Piazza Navona, a great place to enjoy the people and many cafes. Very spacious and accommodating for 5 people, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms to enable all to have the comforts of home for our week stay. One slight downside was the noise of the front bedroom from the street and cafe below. Overall, a very good choice for our stay in Rome!

Outstanding property in a great location

This place was great. Right in the heart of ancient Rome. You are less than a mile walk to all the sites, including the Vatican, colosseum, Spanish stairs, etc. There are restaurants and shops everywhere. The property managers are great to deal with.

Great location and apartment

This is a very comfortable apartment in a charming location. The apartment is on the 3rd floor overlooking narrow historic streets and is immediately above 2 restaurants with outside tables. There is a considerable amount of street noise in the bedrooms at the front of the apartment, but that it part of the charm of the location. This is an ideal location for exploring the city. There are 3 grocery stores very close. There is also a taxi stand nearby, which is very convenient. The taxis are very economical and an efficient way to save time and energy when exploring Rome. Highly recommend the apartment and location. Check in process was excellent.

Perfect place to stay in Rome!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property during our trip in Rome. The place is very clean and spacious and is in an excellent location. It is close to a lot of attractions, yet in a quiet part of the neighborhood. Communication with the owner was prompt and easy. Highly recommend to stay here.

Location and charm!

This flat is in the sweet spot: amazing location (walkable to everything but on a quiet city street), decor/building not fancy but charming and comfortable for guests, and good price. Great for 6 adult travelers in need of air-conditioning, elevator, and close cab stand. Management team was great and professional during and after booking: arranged airport transport and handled a minor plumbing problem within hours. No regrets!

Great location, unit a bit tired

Location was perfect and 20 to 30 minute walk from most areas one would want to visit. Unit was large and comfortable but needs a refresh. Furniture was older, lighting in unit was very poor, electrical outlets in some rooms were in awkward places and/or too old to take the more current converters. Front bedroom street side was loud at night, as there is a restaurant on the first floor. Even with windows closed one can hear the conversations below and can hear the delivery trucks for the restaurant in the early AM. 2nd bathroom is very small, and some people might find that they actually can not FIT into the shower. It also does not have adequate hanging space for towels etc. No closets but have wardrobe storage pieces in each BR that were on the small side.

Awesome apartment, super location, very clean, can be a little noisy but would stay again

Really great place. Emmanuele and his team are very nice and helpful. Apartment is very big. We were 5 and also entertained one evening and it was great. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and the delivery folks can be a bit noisy at 5 or 6 AM but that was minor. Definitely would stay again!!

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Rome

We could not have had a better stay than this one. Emanuele was very helpful in arranging logistics and Sara gave us the best possible welcome. Her suggestions for places to eat were right on target...and just around the corner from our apartment. Beds were comfortable and the living room was a great spot to relax before and after a day wandering the city. The front bedroom was a bit noisy, but not uncomfortably so. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and will definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment in the heart of the old city

We were with 5 people and we liked the apartment. It was clean, spacious and had all basic needs. It is on the 4th floor of an older building and fortunately there was an elevator. It is really in the heart of the city with nice streets and hardly any traffic. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. If we would be coming back we would definitely use it again.

Great Stay in the Heart of Rome

This is a great apartment in the 'heart" of Rome. A very spacious home with three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very comfortable and well appointed with everything that one would need (kitchen was a little small but we did not need or use as there are way too many nearby restaurants to enjoy). Although on the third floor, there is an elevator that makes it easily accessible. The location is superb and was easily summed up by our local, tour guide friend whose very first remark was "how did you find this apartment?" - commenting that we were in a superb location which included many local Romans as opposed to being another "overly filled" tourist location as is the case at other popular locations. The apartment is a easy walk to the Piazza Navona (where we spent a lot of time while not "touring") and, although a little further, many other sites (Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Jewish Ghetto, etc) and shopping. Also cannot fail to mention the great restaurants in the area (including several within 50 feet of the front door like Il Fico (very friendly) where we thoroughly enjoyed our daily glass of wine (or 2) at the end of each day. Also near other near-daily necessities (grocery stores (for water, snacks, etc.) and cash machines). Finally we would be remiss if we did not mention the hosts Emanuele and Sara. They were outstanding to deal with and very responsive. They made the trip very easy/seamless - from booking to check out (e.g., arranging for car to airport). Our family (4 including 2 young teenagers) had an awesome time and would definitely return.

Great place to stay in Rome

We enjoyed our stay here and had no issues. The unit is in a fun little neighborhood with cafes and shops nearby. There was air conditioning, beds were comfortable, and the check-in process was pleasant. The apartment is well organized with instructions about how to do things and a booklet with all kinds of helpful information.

Really great flat for a true Rome experience

We were very pleased with this property. Clean and well maintained, and geared to VRBO clients with a great manual on the home, neighborhood and Rome generally. The charm of the double-shuttered windows and wood beam ceilings really made it feel like home. If you're looking for shiny and new, this isn't it, but if you want old world charm that's still functional (and air conditioned!), this is the place for you. Couldn't have been in a better neighborhood or offered better dining and shopping, plus proximity to Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona. Rome to Home was a great (management co) host. Helpful start to finish.

Great apartment for 5 to 6 people!

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment proved perfect for 2 couples and 2 children. Bedrooms are spaced perfectly apart which allowed for privacy. Apartment was spotless and well equipped. Surrounding neighborhood has plenty of good restaurants and bars if you don’t want to venture out too far at night. Signore E. Buffa was a great host. Grazie Mille!

Great location and worked well for our needs

The central location was perfect for our stay. Nice bathrooms with plenty of space throughout the apartment. We are a family of 5 and it fit us well. As noted the washer and dryer are in the basement, and not in great shape. AC worked well. Kitchen is small with minimal supplies, but we didn't use it much anyway Good value for the space and location.

Wonderful Roman holiday!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment! It was so convenient., Near many sites. We walked all over Rome from this location. My husband and I are in our seventies and never took a bus or any other local transportation. We took a cab to and from the train station only.
