Take long walks around Holt Country Park (1 mile), set among 100 acres of woodland and containing play areas for the kids and home to a wide variety of butterflies. If you fancy a day beside the seaside, head to Sheringham (7 miles) or Cromer (10 miles), where you can also join the fabulous Norfolk Coast Path which passes cliffsides, heathlands, and breathtaking views.
