Beautifully renovated cottage in the Royal Burgh of Auchtermuchty with views to the Lomond Hills.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial basket of fuel for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair.. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Bluebell Cottage is a beautifully renovated terrace property located in the Royal Burgh of Auchtermuchty in the Kingdom of Fife, with open views to the Lomond Hills. This charming self catering cottage offers ground floor accommodation and makes a fantastic holiday destination. Each room has been tastefully decorated and furnished. The lounge is warm and welcoming with its wood burning stove. The kitchen diner is fully fitted and well equipped. There is a luxury tiled bathroom and two good sized bedrooms. Bluebell Cottage is within walking distance of all essential amenities including a selection of shops, tearoom, local pub and eateries and there are electric car charging points within the village. The village is full of history with ancient streets and wynd’s, with records showing there has been a settlement here since 350AD.
Auchtermuchty was the adopted home of Sir Jimmy Shand MBE, MA who was a famous Scots accordionist and dance band leader during the 1950/60’s. Bluebell Cottage was the music room for Jimmy Shand and is named after his 1955 chart topping hit the "Bluebell Polka". The village has a bronze statue in honour of this late great musician. Today the famous musical talents to come from the village are The Proclaimers.
Auchtermuchty is a great base to start exploring all that stunning Fife, Perthshire and Augus have to offer.
