The property was well located in Key West, being close to many of the activities. We rented a golf cart for convenience and were happy with our central hub being the VRBO property. Also, when at our place, we enjoyed the massive outdoor space, in the form of an amazing natural courtyard with native plants and trees, as well as the pool, hot tub, and beach,…we walked along the beach several times.

Everything about the stay was good, my only recommendation would be to put the address for where the fob can be picked up on the initial check in text message to clear any confusion about where the office is located.

The condo is outdated. The beds were horrible. I found it extremely uncomfortable, and I even contacted them to bring it to their attention, but nothing was done. Dryer would not dry the clothes and they made no effort to fix the issue.

Key west get away

It was a great place to stay! The pool/beach was great! Just a few things that should get fixed. The facet in the kitchen doesn’t retract, check the hide a bed after every guest leaves, knives are not sharp, I would definitely stay there again.

Great location

1800 Atlantic is just a great spot... The key situation at the different doors is absolutely terrible... But if they ever get the whole building keypad or key card it's best place in key West if you want beach, but close to old town

Perfect stay

We visited for my moms 80th bday. She was born in KW...great unit for the cost. Unit does have a partial view of garbage coral that I wasnt expecting but overall ur was great. We see the sights and dont spend a ton of time at the condo. So ut was perfect.

Home in the Keys

This apt suited our groups needs... very large balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. You can see the ocean. It's a spacious 2 bedroom apt. that needs updating. Also, you have to obtain a physical key for the lobby& a garage opener . You need an access code for the apt. Be sure to read the instructions carefully. But the parking spot is perfect and so is the beautiful pool. It's a great location.

Nice Place

Place was perfect for a family of 6. Very nice layout. Pool and spa were very nice. You could look out and see the ocean in the distance but no real beach access. It was visible but you can’t get to it from the property. Although it is right up the street on either side of the property so that was nice. The only downfall to this place is we got eaten up by what seems to have been fleas.

Resort is OK - pool area is nice.

The condo was very, very dated. It could have been cleaner - broken glass was on the balcony. Things were very old and makes it hard to clean. Did not like the process of having to go somewhere else to pick up and drop off a key!!!

Great Get Away

This was a great place to get to visit Key West. Place was not too far away from Duval and other attractions. Nice and quiet. The grounds were kept up. The courtyard was very nice with a pool and hot tub. There is a little beach and they have plenty of chairs and lounges. Room was clean and temp inside was very comfortable. Water pressure and temp was great in MB. Our friends said extra BR was not so great. Toilet and tub faucet need replaced. But all in all a great place and we enjoyed our time. Would definitey use this place again.

Condo Rental on Key West

This unit is a short term vacation rental with lots of prior guests. Building is safe and protected. Pool area is welcoming. Vasaca handles check in well. The unit really needs a new couch; the couch was so old it was not comfortable, faded, very used. The hardware (shower head and handles) in the small bathroom needs to be replaced with some you can actually regulate, these are either too hot or too cold. Well used unit.

Feb 2020 - 9 day stay

I would like to give overall at least 4.5, but nothing available between 4 and 5. The condo could use a little TLC here and there, but was clean and had what we need for our trip, including beach chairs, towels. Smathers Beach not too far a walk if you want the sand, and very nice pool / spa (when working) downstairs. Location was sort of in 1 corner of Key West. We rented bikes for week from Sunshine Scooters (nice folks) and also walked, taxied and ubered places. I read a review that mentioned a concern with the mattress(es). I too would suggest a new mattress in master - definitely worn or lower quality if newer.

October 2014: 3 night stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very spacious 2Bed 2Bath condo. We had two couples in the condo and felt there was plenty of space. The pool and spa area is well cared for, not too busy and overlooks the Atlantic ocean. It is not in walking distance of all the active areas of Duval Street, but just a quick taxi ride away and a very peaceful location. The beds are very comfortable. TV's in both rooms and larger TV in living room. The wifi was superb, 25Mbps and great range. We had a great experience with the management company and their concierge service that books activities and recommends specific companies with better reputations. The room is well equipped for a long stay.

Great Stay

The property was clean, and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. I highly recommend Vacasa, the rental department. The check-in was a breeze, and they were so nice to deal with. The condo stay was great but a few issues. Please replace the ceiling fan in the living room. All 4 blades are sagging. Our husbands were over 6ft so they almost hit their heads several times. The Condo's are nice, but the residents do not care much for visitors. There are ridiculous rules posted everywhere. Such as, you have to listen to music on your headphones, no coolers or drinks at the pool. We had several residents that were quite rude. I can't imagine if we were younger individuals. Other than this we enjoyed our stay.

NEEDS WORK!

The property was very nice, not so much with the condo. The beds were the worst my family has ever slept on. I believe they are extremely old like the condition of the property. Walls had paint missing, bathroom metals were rusted. Looks like it was decorated in the 80s and nothing has been improved since. Electrical outlets were so old plugs kept falling out in the bathroom. We could get past the old unkept cosmetic things, just not the beds. Everyone complained about the beds being uncomfortable and caused back pain from soft old mattresses. It is a shame as this property could be wonderful with some updates and of course new beds!

Disappointed

You can pass this messsge to the person in charge : that we agree $100 is good for the inconvenience of no tv for 2 days . The other days it was off and your guess is as good as ours if it would stay on . It would even turn off in the middle of a program . But we should not have to come into a warm refrigerator. Dirty cabinets Your excuse you have no control over construction: you have control over letting us know there is construction and letting us decide if we want to stay . It made that we were woking up everyday at 8 . It went right along side our room . Than we couldn't enjoy the view from the deck Because of the noise and dirt . You could not carry on a conversation. 4 days/5 nights Same as for the pool : Dirt, in air and pool . So noisy you couldn't hear to talk to anyone . 4days/5 nights Just noticed this listing says beach access . There was no beach access

It is OK, but I would not come back

1. It is managed by Vacasa. I was constantly bombarded with messages, emails, etc. Some of them were confusing, mostly annoying. 2. Check in process is idiotic. You have to uber with your luggage to a completely different location to pickup the key. We came in the evening, when office was closed. There were three security locks with no name. Two were difficult to deal with. We had to try all three to finally get the key. Then we had to uber back to the property. 3. One toilet was clogged. The plunger was left in the middle of the bathroom as hint of what to do. So, it is an ongoing problem that was not addressed. 4. Apartment is weird. It is outdated. It feels like nobody lived there for 30 years. It was reasonably clean, but not inviting. 5. The only good thing was location. It was close to the best beach on Key West and away from noise of Duval st. Downside - the closest food place is 10 minutes walk, but it was Ok with us. Overall: we enjoyed our vacation, but not the apartment and I would not rent this place again.

Extremely Disappointed!

Condo not clean, and very dated. I picked this particular one because we were traveling with another couple and wanted two rooms, two bathrooms, and two queen or larger beds. My husband and I took the smaller room. The bed was a queen however, the mattress was so warped on the left side it could barely accommodate my husband because part of it sunk like a hole and the corner curled strait up. I slept on the twin bed next to his which was even more uncomfortable. (picture 11 in the virtual tour led me to believe that Either two double or queen beds were in the room, that is not what was in the room when we stayed on it) The sheets felt like sandpaper. Worst sleep I had in my life. Plus the room was dusty or something. My husband was so sick by the second day he couldn't breathe, his eyes were about swollen shut as were mine, and we live in Florida it wasn't the "pollen". If we hadn't been with another couple celebrating a birthday we would have moved to a hotel. The four of us seriously considered it the second day. Plus we had to travel 4 miles to pick-up and drop off a key. This was a huge inconvenience since we arrived after 8 pm from the airport and left the rental at 5am to catch our 7am flight out on Monday. The rental place was unable to loan us a garage door opener. The one star was for the Security Guard, James, he was magnificent. Very accommodating! We don't get to travel much having small children so this was an extremely disappointing trip. Disappointing doesn't even come close to describing my feelings accurately. I have rented a number of condos and vacation homes over the years this experience may make me reconsider.
