Perfectly positioned on the banks of the River Fowey, Bosuns Loft enjoys a wonderful waterside setting just moments from the ancient port town of Fowey. This charming apartment makes an ideal base for couples or small families looking to explore this beautiful stretch of Cornwall.
At the heart of the property is a bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner — a welcoming space designed for comfort and convenience with a TV. The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, ensuring you have everything needed for easy holiday catering.
The inviting bedrooms are located just beyond the living space. A charming double bedroom enjoys lovely views of the water, offering a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Opposite, a bunk bedroom provides comfortable sleeping arrangements, ideal for children or additional guests. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom fitted with a shower over bath and WC.
Outside, guests can make use of the beautifully presented shared garden, complete with a BBQ station and a choice of patio areas — perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided for added convenience.
A private shared pontoon sits just in front of the house, inviting outdoor-led days spent fishing, crabbing, paddleboarding or kayaking, or even hiring your own boat for the week to cruise into Fowey and explore the beauty of the river at your own pace.
Bosuns Loft is superbly located for discovering the very best of the local area. The coastal village of Polruan is just a short drive away, with a passenger ferry providing an easy link to Fowey. Further afield, enjoy day trips to Looe and Polperro to the east, or Mevagissey to the west. The charming town of Lostwithiel is well worth a visit, offering a delightful selection of boutique interior shops and antiques emporiums.
