Kirktoun is a delightful cottage with open country views and within walking distance of Duffus, making it a great choice for couples or for families. Duffus has a shop, pub and play park.. 3 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for open fire included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Doggy extras.. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, BBQ and garden furniture. Electric car charging point. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This delightful cottage originally built for the estate’s housekeeper and gardener. It has open country views and is within walking distance of Duffus, which has a shop and a play park, making it a great choice for couples or families. Kirktoun is a surprisingly spacious cottage; the bright living room has a lovely restored open fire (with complimentary logs from the estate), perfect for cosy evenings in. It has a large window with a beautiful open westerly outlook across the fields. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances to make your stay enjoyable and carefree. There is a separate dining room – ideal for long, leisurely dinners with friends or family. The well-appointed bathroom is downstairs it has a a bath with electric shower over, thick, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels and locally sourced quality toiletries. There are two cosy bedrooms - one double bedroom and one twin bedroom which can be found upstairs, both with cool, crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen.
Outside Kirktoun has a good-sized, private garden, part of which is enclosed and is useful for containing children or the dog! The patio area is great for summer BBQs or sipping wine whilst watching the sun set on those long, light summer evenings we are blessed to get up here in Moray. You might be lucky enough to spot some resident red squirrels which live in the woods behind. There is also a fire bowl for guests to use to keep them warm whilst perhaps watching the stars or having a wee nightcap. There is a supply of children’s books and toys to keep those little ones entertained while you’re relaxing.
Duffus Estate has a network of paths, many of which can be accessed directly from the gate at the bottom of Kirktoun’s garden and Kirktoun Cottage has everything to make your holiday a very special one.
