Cosy 2 Bedroom apartment - prime location city centre - AC - terrace

This 2-bedroom apartment has prime location in the medieval town Gothic Quarter next to Placa Catalunya, often called the heart of Barcelona. You find many of Barcelona’s most famous tourist attractions, restaurants/bars as well as best shopping, mainly just around the corner. Airport bus 3 min, beach 25 min walk. Two bedrooms with double bed, AC/heater, fast speed Wi-Fi. The apartment has a very cosy terrace – a beautiful green spot to enjoy right in the city centre.

The apartment has 56 M2 and 20M2 terrace. Bedroom 1 (16M2) face the street with a french balcony. The room has a large double bed 160 cm x 200 cm, AC/Heater, an armchair with a table to relax after a long day to maybe read a book or plan the next coming days. Desk to study or work at. Wardrobe with lots of coat hangers, safety box, big mirror, hairdryer. Bedroom 2 (13M2) is an indoor room with a window facing the private terrace. Same as the other room it also has a large double bed 160 cm x 200 cm, AC/Heater, an armchair with a table, desk. Wardrobe with lots of coat hangers, safety box, big mirror, hairdryer. The two bedrooms are located separate from each other, at one extreme from the other, to create privacy. You can lock the bedroom door.

Apart from the 2 bedrooms there is a full equipped kitchen, dining room and a smaller office room with a large desk, TV etc. Perfect for work if you are on a business trip or need to work meanwhile rest of family/friends are hanging out.

The bathroom is large with a bathtub and located in the hall. In each bedroom there is a large mirror and hair dryer, so it is not necessary to spend much time in the bathroom since you have all the facilities to do makeup and hair at your bedroom.

At the apartment you’ll find an information booklet about the apartment and with a few recommendations as well as guidebooks and a map to borrow. Bed linen, shampoo, shower gel and soap are provided. Towels are provided: 1-5 days stay: two small towels and two big towels per person, towels for feet, one beach towel per person (during season) 6-12 days stay: three small towels and three big towels per person, towels for feet, one beach towel per person (during season).

The opening hour of the cosy terrace is 08:00- 22:00/8 am - 10 pm. The terrace has lots of plants, parasols, tables and chairs, and cosy lightning. The terrace only belongs to the house members at the apartment. Like a secret little garden to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of cava in the evening!

The apartment is located on a small street without any traffic. You don’t need much of transportation since you find most things around the corner: La Rambla 5 min, Cathedral 4 min, La Boqueria 5 min, Opera Liceu 7 min, Palau de la Musica 5 min, Picasso Museum 7 min, Casa Batlló 12 min, La Pedrera/Casa Mila 15 min, Passeig de Gracia, 8 min, beach 25 min, Porta de Angel shopping street 2 min, Airport bus 3 min, Hop on & off Tourist bus 3 min, Sagrada Familia 30 min.

For food lovers, you find 2 of the best market halls in Barcelona with fresh products, both within a 5 min walk: La Boqueria and Mercado Santa Caterina. In the neighbourhood you also find all these nice tapas and wine bars! Drinks you’ll get at/around the street Passeig de Born, 9 min walk or Plaza Real 8 min walk.

CHECK IN is from 11 am until 22 pm. If I have guests leaving the room on the same day maybe the room and the apartment will not be clean until a little bit later (11 am-3 pm) but we can do the check in when you arrive (from 11 am and forward) so you can leave your luggage, get the keys and start to enjoy the city meanwhile your room and the apartment will be ready for you when you get back! Please note that this is a service I do so you don’t have to walk around Barcelona with luggage but that the cleaning needs some time since cleanliness is very important to me as a dedicated host.

There is no check in after 22 pm. In case you arrive late due to a delayed flight, or your flight time has been changed and you are not able to make it to the apartment before 22:00/10 pm, you are welcome to check in the day after from 11 am and forward. Is not possible to send somebody else to check in for you or pick up the keys. There are hotels at the airport area with free shuttle bus for passengers flying in late.

CHECK OUT is latest at 11 am. If I don’t get new guests arriving on the same day, I might be able to let you stay longer free of charge in case you have a late flight, but it all depends on the next coming guests and sometimes I don’t have that information until shortly before they arrive. However, there are also luggage lockers for tourists just 2 min walk from the apartment next to the Airport Bus

Apart from check in I will not interact with guests much during your stay, but you can reach me throw the chat, calls, SMS etc 24/7 but please respect timetable of normal questions and conversation 09:00-20:00 / 9 am - 8 pm. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. Out from those hours only urgent matters please. You do find an information booklet at the apartment with most answers to your questions as well as recommendations.

Parties are not allowed in the apartment, and it is important to respect the rest of the neighbours. By law in Spain and therefor also at the apartment it must be quiet from 23:00/11 pm until 08:00/8am. Smoking is just allowed on the balcony/terrace and is forbidden to throw cigarette ends etc from the balcony. It's not permitted to invite/bring other people to the apartment. Access to the terrace is limited to between 08:00-22:00 /8 am – 10 pm to not disturb the neighbours. Out from opening hours the terrace door needs to be closed. The door of the terrace is connected to an alarm. The washing machine can be used from 09:00-21:00/9 am – 9 pm. I don’t provide detergent. Children under 12 not allowed and 18+ years if you are travelling without family. Pets not allowed. You are obligated to inform the host if you accidentally brake or destroy something during your stay.
