Esta casa de 3 dormitorios está ubicada en la costa oeste del lago Tahoe en Tahoe City y cuenta con hermosas vistas al bosque y mejoras en toda la casa. Nuestra Elegant Getaway admite mascotas y tiene un loft perfecto para ponerse al día con su trabajo o para desbordarse. Nuestra elegante casa de 3 dormitorios y 3 baños se encuentra en la costa oeste del lago Tahoe, en el área de Sunnyside de Tahoe City. Es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y escaparse, pero aún así estar lo suficientemente cerca de las comodidades modernas.

El nivel principal de la casa cuenta con un plano de planta abierto con cocina, comedor y sala de estar, amplias ventanas y una impresionante chimenea de gas de roca de río. Es genial para pasar tiempo con la familia y entretenerse. Si sube las escaleras, encontrará un bonito loft con un pequeño espacio de trabajo y un futón de tamaño completo para dormir desbordando. En la planta baja encontrará 3 dormitorios, que incluyen una gran suite principal con una cama King, un dormitorio con una cama Queen y una habitación para niños con 2 juegos de literas.

Camine una corta distancia hasta la cima de la carretera para ver amplias vistas del lago Tahoe y disfrute de kilómetros de senderos que conducen a Tahoe Rim Trail.

Los huéspedes de verano disfrutarán de estar cerca de restaurantes, playas y rutas de senderismo, así como del interior luminoso y alegre. Los huéspedes de invierno disfrutarán de la vista de las nevadas frescas en los árboles a través de los grandes ventanales, el estacionamiento en el garaje para 2 autos y el rápido viaje a las estaciones de esquí de Homewood, Squaw Valley y Alpine Meadows.

This house is amazing. I would leave there in a heartbeat. The location is close to a lot of great amenities including two trailheads. There is a fully fenced yard which is awesome if you have a dog that needs to outdoor space. Ours really loved the back deck and the proximity to swimming and trails. This is by far my favoritest place to stay in Tahoe. Cannot say enough good things about it.

The house is lovely and comfortable, the property management company was great! The deck is so lovely we wish the back deck had a larger table with more chairs. If the home had private beach access and a hot tub it would certainly become our go to rental

Beautiful house in great area

Everything was accurate as the listing except for one thing. We chose this house because of the fenced yard and the large size of the yard for our dog. However there is no entrance to the yard from inside the house. You need to go out the front door and around to the side gate. Not a big issue but I would have appreciated this information.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s our third time staying at this cabin in Tahoe City and we absolutely love it! The location is great, a short walk to wonderful 180 degrees views of Lake Tahoe, hiking trails, grocery store, pet store, and the yummy Tahoe House bakery! It’s also a very short and easy drive into town! The house is always super clean, and it’s stocked with all you might need during your stay! The rental agency staff is super helpful and accommodating! Additionally, the backyard is fenced and our puppy was able to roam safely. There are filtered lake views from all the rooms, floor to ceiling windows that show the beautiful evergreens, and you feel like you’re submerged in tranquility and beauty every day! We will definitely be coming back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I, and our puppy Grizzly, absolutely loved staying at the Elegant Gateway in Tahoe City. The location is close to hiking trails, and just a short walk to the lake, or the Truckee river. There is also a bike trail right down the hill from the cabin that we used a lot because it takes you anywhere you want to go. The actual cabin was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed during our two weeks stay. We also truly loved the fact that the backyard was fenced in, so our puppy was able to play and enjoy being off leash. The neighborhood was quiet, especially during the week, when there were't too many tourists. Bonus points: the amazing 180 degrees view of Lake Tahoe just up the hill, at the end of the road. Jenefer was amazing in helping us extend our stay with an extra day, and have a later check-out time. This is our second time renting this cabin, and are definitely planning to come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third vacation rental in Tahoe City, and definitely the cleanest and best-equipped. We prepared most of our meals, and the kitchen offered everything we needed, including a water bowl for the dogs. There were basics like oils & spices, which is not a given in a rental.Although there's no clear view of the lake (we knew that) the flip side is that the house is well shaded, so in hot weather, if you are strategic about opening windows and closing shades, the house can stay comfortable (it was nearly 90 a few days). The bedrooms are downstairs and are cooler than the main living area.Parking was ample. The wifi was a bit weak, but I believe that's true everywhere in the area. The fenced back yard was a great bonus if you have a dog that likes to chase a ball.Negative: The property behind the house has a floodlight on their property; if you're a light-sensitive sleeper, you'll want to draw the shades, which means you restrict fresh air when it's warm out.I'll conclude by emphasizing the cleanliness of this home, the quality construction and outfitting, and the ample natural lighting in the main living area. The game loft is kinda cool as well.

We had a great time. The kids loved the backyard They were able to play in the snow without me having to go down to the yard. I watched from the deck. I was surprised there is no way to get in the back yard except from the gate out front. I’m guessing because of possible bears…

So close to beautiful trails

We had a blast with our dogs in the snow. I love the location of this house. There are amazing trails just a short walk down the road. I will absolutely book this place again. So worth it. Especially with the fenced in yard. So nice to be able to let our dogs romp and play back there. The only thing to note is that there is no entrance to backyard from house. You have to go out front door and walk around to the back. We had to clear a better path to the back gate, then shovel out the gate so we could enter the backyard. We visited when there was a lot of snow and even more dropped while we were there. It was magical. Loved it!

Great location!

The house was perfect for our family. We had two kids and two adults. The only issue we ran into was dirty house carpets…other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home

Perfect house for our week stay in Tahoe. Love having morning coffee on the porch amongst the trees. Gorgeous lake views just up the hill. Our family and pup love this home!

We loved the short walk up the hill to see the view of the lake. Very quiet neighborhood. My kids loved the bunk beds. My only complaint is about 3 hours after we checked out, the management company called me wanting to know why I put the comforter in the washing machine to wash and it ended up with a rip in it. The problem is that I never even took the comforter off of the bed. Obviously the cleaning crew tried to blame me for their mistake. I didn’t appreciate being blamed for something I did not do. Other than that, the house and our stay was amazing!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location

My wife, dog, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean. The location was perfect: it was a short walk to everything we needed, including trails that led to the Tahoe Rim Trail. The backyard was perfect for our dog. We received over 2 feet of snow in one night and the snow removal service of the neighborhood was on top of things. The property manager was quick and courteous to all our inquiries. No complaints and we would happily recommend this location and the property manager to anyone.

Great location and nice property!

We loved this house. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked (but there was no salt), the TV had many channels, we would have loved to have the fireplace work (but it wouldn’t turn on), the house was close to town, Granlibakken resort, and Sunnyside restaurant, Homewood was also not too far. The house also had sleds in the garage for the kids to use and it was nice to be able to park our cars in the garage. We’ll definitely stay here again, but hopefully next time the fireplace will work and the kitchen will have salt.

Great location with everything we needed

Close to trails and had everything we needed. The house did not have an access point to the backyard, which was odd but there are gates/door on each side of the house which was nice.

Lovely home with lots of windows. Beautiful views. Short picturesque drive to ski Palasades. Just as pictured and very clean. Very cozy. Would deffinetly book again!

Great weekend ski rental

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I rented this place for an MLK weekend ski trip with our two teens (plus a friend) and my mother and her partner. The place was just right - very clean, good bedroom/bathroom layout, plenty of space (and light) in the very nice living room, and a very useable and comfortable kitchen. We've rented a lot of weekend places in Truckee/Tahoe City area, and I would definitely put this one near the top - not a boffo luxury place and no one thing was spectacular, but everything was very nice and comfortable and there were no major issues. Particularly for a house that allows dogs (yeah!), I would rank this place very high, and I tend to be fussy and picky (e.g., I get annoyed by too many tchotchkes in a place). I should also add that the location is good - 15 minutes to Alpine on 89 and also close to the backroad to the Sherwood lift.

Well stocked kitchen, short walk to a meadow with an amazing view of the lake, close to Alpine Meadows and Tahoe Palisades for skiing. Perfect vacation home!
