The overworked person at the front desk was overwhelmed with a line of folks registering, a slow computer system, and people coming in to ask her questions. It took over 20 minutes for me to get a room.The place is run-down. The atmosphere made me check the mattress for signs of bedbugs. There weren't any; however, a cockroach scuttled away when I lifted a bag of the counter.The bed was okay. The smell of marijuana was prevalent, especially walking in to the lobby.I had to ask for a roll of toilet paper as there was none in my room. The only amenity was a tiny bar of soap for the sink and two for the bath. One set of skimpy towels; they were clean,.The air conditioner wasn't effective until after the sun went down.

I booked this place at the last minute because the VRBO place I had reserved cancelled shortly before my arrival. The room was fairly clean and adequate but the overall property was quite run-down and smelled of stale cigarettes. The pictures show a small bar with what appears to be coffee dispensers and breakfast type snacks available off the lobby area. There was nothing like that and there were no vending machines nor ice machines. The rooms have kitchens but there was no kitchenware at all. It was definitely not the "beautiful property" they claimed.

There was only one person at the front desk, doing about 6 jobs: registering a line of people, answering the phone, guiding people, My room wasn't easily ready: it was moved twice before I could get in, Registration took at least 20 minutes. An intoxicated person asked me a personal question as I walked in to the facility through a dense cloud of cannabis smoke. I had to request a roll of toilet paper. The air conditioner was not adequate to keep up with the daytime oven that is Memphis. I checked for bedbugs by lifting the mattress before getting into the bed. Something about the general run-down quality of the facility inspired me to do that. I used the telephone number (in Germany) to contact the owner and was unable to get through. A recorded message gave me a reason why my call could not go through. I had to do detective work to find the address of the facility. The address was not on the invoice nor any documents. I was forced to download an app I don't like to use (Maps) to get directions. It could have been worse.

Ich bin gerade bei meiner Oma und meiner Schwester zu Besuch. Wir lieben es hier, es ist ein wunderschöner Ort und ich würde mich freuen, wenn jeder mal vorbeikommt und es sich ansieht. Der Service ist super, man bekommt alles, was man braucht, und es wird dafür gesorgt, dass es einem gut geht. Die Zimmer sind schön und die Lage ist ruhig. Schaut doch mal vorbei! #extendedstayamerica

Das Hotel ist älter und renovierungsbedürftig, aber es war sauber und nur 10 Minuten vom internationalen Flughafen Memphis entfernt. Beim Auschecken um 4:15 Uhr morgens war Chasadee sehr hilfsbereit und gab uns die Adresse des nächstgelegenen McDonald's, damit wir auf dem Weg zum Flughafen noch Kaffee holen konnten.
