Loved our time at Fontainebleau

Property was as advertised! Wonderful and clean with a beautiful view. Housekeeping was very timely. The property is on the 36th floor so it was a bit annoying to wait for elevator (one of the 4 was always broken). Otherwise a great stay!!

The property is as described. Very specious great location with amazing views. The hotel has excellent amenities and plenty of dining options. Will definitely consider this place next time I’m in Miami.

unexpectd hiccups but owners made it right

Long story short, leak from above penthouse made for a bit of a mess. Managment was in contact with me throughout the process and made it right. I would stay again in this unit.

Needs work!

Renting this property at this time was a bad idea. It took an hour to check in the room because housekeeping was not complete at 4pm! Housekeeping had to be called back after checking in because the balcony was dirty! Stains on the tables and an ashtray full of cigarettes! The living room space was not able to be used for entertainment because one wall didn’t have power so we couldn’t watch tv. We had to be confined to the bedroom if we just wanted to rest. I was told a repair man would be set by the owner and no one ever showed up! Being on the 36th floor was a great view but also a bad idea at this time. The other units on this floor were being upgraded so we were waking up to banging, hammering and drilling noises at 7/8 AM EVERY morning!!

Fontainebleau experience

The rental process was easy. Also I liked that parking and spa options were included. The hotel on the other hand is skimping on service and quality of food as I have been to this property before and most of the resturant were ok. We decided to dine out due to sub standard food.

3 Nights Tresor

After staying at the Fontainebleau more than 10 times, this was the worst unit I have rented. The owner needs to spend time in the unit to understand the room is in need of basic maintenance and up keeping needs. As a top property in Miami the room is not on par with other top locations. In addition, the Fountainebleau clientele has changed to a much younger crowd.

Great hotel property and great view, but unit is tired and dirty

The unit is spacious for four people but I wouldn't attempt to stay there with six (as advertised) as it would be very cramped. You also need to pay for additional beds beyond the king bed and pullout sofa (not advertised). The second bathroom has no counter space or shelving to unpack any toiletries. The kitchen is very poorly equipped, although housekeeping delivered us one pot and one pan. Other than some plates, cereal bowls, 4 piece cutlery set, and a few glasses and two mugs, there was nothing. The view is the best part of the experience as the 36th floor provides great south facing views of the ocean, downtown Miami, and the sunset. The 36th floor during peak holiday periods presents a challenge as you will make a minimum of 10 stops per trip. The unit was quite tired and dirty. The mattress on the pull out sofa is nothing short of disgusting with horrible stains and the springs are sticking out. The hotel brought us a foam topper to make it manageable. The unit owner was usually responsive via text, but at times slow. The hotel owner concierge services is helpful and provides a good on-site option to compliment the owner. The hotel housekeeping was responsive and helpful.

Fantastic property.

Great trip!

We flew into Miami after vacationing in Iceland, and decided to thaw out on he beach for a few days before returning to reality. The Fontainebleau is great, always has been and always will be. The unit itself could use a little a little TLC. It is satisfactory, but not 5 star. Some of the furniture, carpet, and tile are worn. Overall, the stay was great, and the value compared to normal hotel rates cannot be beat, especially when considering the inclusions with the rate (valet parking alone is $47 a night). Would definitely recommend.
