This unit was amazing. I have stayed in other units in Sorrento Tower and this was the largest with an amazing view of the beach and ocean. The unit has two queen beds and a pullout sofa that comes with a memory foam topper, which was very comfortable.The only downside of this unit is the noise from a bar/club in the building next door. On the first two nights of our stay the bar was open with music blasting from evening until at least midnight. It was so loud making it very difficult to fall asleep. On nights three and four, it seems that the club had a canopy over the outside deck area which blockef some of the noise so it was not as loud, but since it was the weekend, it seemed that the club was open later and the music went on till at least 1 AM.

Sorrento suite

Pools! Fontainebleau is beautiful but busy. The room is large! Washer/dryer combo in unit although there is a learning curve… YouTube. Make sure to check out early cause it gets busy! We waited an hour for valet for our car and they had no luggage carts available. That was horrible.

The room was very spacious. Loved the view from the balcony. Having a washing machine and dryer was a game changer. Access to the pool and beach was so much easier than being in the other towers. Our only issue was the hot water with the shower. It was either really hot, basically unbearable, or really cold. If that issue gets fixed, this an absolute no brainer.

Great girls getaway

This was a great place for our girls’ trip. The pool is amazing (be sure to arrive early am for a good spot). The beach was excellent as well and the room comes with 4 reserved beach umbrellas. We stayed mid-week and at the front desk were told weekends only include the spa passes. The room and hotel itself was very glamorous, other than the wet carpet in our hallway (which did not bother our group). However, they did get the fans in the hallway running to ameliorate the carpet issue. The drinks are pricey but this is expected anywhere in Miami Beach. We would definitely stay again.

Pros and Cons

Cons: pillows are horrible for us and for our kids (aged 9&6), they didn’t have enough stuffing in them. The bathroom door needs major repair, it’s almost falling off and needs some TLC and there is no privacy or lock on the bathroom door. Cleaning team before we arrived needs to do a better job! The place looked like it wasn’t vacuumed well AT ALL! Also, the kitchen counter, needs to be cleaned better, the corners had dust collecting. The entire unit was dusty, like it’s never been cleaned (around TV, under microwave, baseboards under computer table). They need to do some paint repair as the ceiling where one of the vents is, the paint was peeling. Pros: space is large and very comfortable. Bathroom size is good as well. Storage was great! Decor is cute too! Fridge was a good size and so helpful to have the microwave when having small kids with us. View was AMAZING! This unit has a lot of potential if it was up kept a little better. When we booked, this unit was the only available for the dates we needed so we didn’t have much of a choice since we wanted to stay at the Fountainbleau. We come often and stay at their units and love it usually. Vacation was awesome! Just felt the need to leave this review in hopes they take care of the cons if possible, especially the price your paying… expectations should be met.

Not a good experience

Just had a 3 night stay here and unfortunately, had a very poor experience. Upon arrival to the property, we noticed the A/C unit was leaking water all over the floor. Once I got a hold of the property manager, they worked hard to get it fixed, but it took 2 days. We were given another room on the 19th floor with working A/C, but it was still a big inconvenience going back and forth between two rooms. It was not a relaxing vacation at all. The owner would only reimburse us $500 for our inconvenience, which was equivalent to a 1 night stay, even though we had two nights of going back and forth. The rental is very run down, absolutely no cell reception inside, and the only way you could make or receive a call is on the balcony. The property managers did a great job communicating and were very professional and helpful.

Great Stay

Everything was very clean and the pictures were real. The beds were comfortable and the view was stunning. The pools were great and the service it tops. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because outside on the balcony was a loud noise of the tower's air conditioning unit below which was pretty big and noisy. It made it hard to hear others talking. Also we didnt have great cell phone service. Overall it was amazing.
