Esta es una nueva construcción de 3 dormitorios / 3 baños Wisconsin Log Home en 40 acres arbolados ubicados en el centro, en Egg Harbor, para facilitar el acceso a todas las actividades del Condado de Door. This was the perfect place to call home while we explored the peninsula for a few days - it was clean and had everything we needed! Becky gives a long list of things to do, or places to eat with the booking info. We would definitely stay here again.

Fall get away in a perfect setting. Great place for adults to relax and recharge. Sleeps 6 adults. 3 bedrooms all on separate floors which gave everyone enough privacy. Great porch to visit and enjoy the fall leaves. Log cabin is very well maintained and spacious.

Our family loved the cabin! We each had a room and bathroom. The fireplace was magnificent and we always had a fire going (If that’s your vibe, stop at a gas station or Lautenbach’s for firewood). The locale was perfect. It was just minutes from everything, but isolated enough for peace and quiet.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for, very spacious and remote - we loved that it had three bedrooms and three bathrooms. We enjoyed the covered deck and the beautiful views every day, it was so quiet and peaceful! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well, and loved the on-property trails, along with the public trails just across the road. The kitchen was fully stocked which was also wonderful. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely Door County Cabin stay

The log cabin house was lovely and in the perfect wooded surroundings. The location was great, kind of in between the different parks and bays to see.

Lots of room in this big log house. Located in a quiet setting, but very close to town. My brother-in-law used to own a log house in Door County and this looks like it was built by the same builders. My sister-in-law found some frogs in the lower-level bedroom, and it was a bit cold down there. We had a good time until my one brother-in-law had a heart attack and had to be rushed to the hospital. (This is no fault or reflection on the property.) Our host was quick to answer any questions.

Fantastic stay

We had an awesome time at the cabin. The location is perfect - close enough to everything yet far enough away to feel like you are getting away from it all. The trails are fantastic and our dog absolutely loved all of his walks. Make sure to visit the Land Reserve across the street because we saw plenty of wildlife over there (deer, turkeys, cranes etc). Skyway drive in was great as was the Peninsula Players. Already planning for another trip to Door County. Becky was fantastic and always accessible to answer any questions we had.

Great Place to Stay

The Boyer Cabin was a great place to stay. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything one may need while there. The property provides trails throughout the land which was great to explore. There are additional trails across the street in the Preserve. We highly recommend staying here.

Tranquil and Peaceful

Property and home are beautiful. Very clean, the layout works for three separate couples or a family that wishes to have their own bedroom/bathroom combination. We walked the trails on the property as well as the preserve directly across the street. Many deer and turkeys sightings. It is nice way to unwind after a busy day of touring/sightseeing. It does get cold in the basement, we found the house fan and great room fan kept the entire home comfortable without running the air. Only turned on the air a couple of times during the week of the 4th of July.

A very cherry Christmas

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay. It was so cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed to celebrate. Great location! Loved the walking trails. Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful luxury cabin. Great walking paths in the wooded 40 acres, perfect for our yellow lab. Nice location short driving distance to sturgeon bay, egg harbor, donnie Glidden restaurant but very much a country setting. WiWill look for this listing again!!

Egg Harbor Door County Hidden Golden Jam Log Cabin since 2019

Hidden Jam since 2019, Whimsical Cabin of Door County, Egg Harbor area, Fantastic. Honestly did not want to leave this Cabin, almost all tears. I found my perfect VRBO fort the rest of my journey to Door County sort of speak. This Door County log cabin was seriously amazing. lacking terminology here. The cabin was clean and check in was super easy. Perfect location and secluded. Felt like a warm home with my grand parents lived there and warm pies, and winter hot soups, and decorated nicely It was very well equipped and lacked for nothing. The host of this property was very attentive. It was perfect getaway from the city life. Host was extremely knowledgeable and professional, a sweet person! Happy travels and LIVE your life to the fullest!

About Mike and Becky
When thinking about this write up for VRBO we were surprised that our Door County story started almost 30 years ago. We first visited Door County to see about repairs for an outboard motor for an old Boston Whaler. (long story) During the brief visit we were amazed by the harbor towns, coastlines and rural open spaces. I remember saying “I thought this was only on the east coast”. Every Door County town has its own special charm and unique attractions and best of all, everything is so close that you can have a great Door County experience over a long weekend. However, there really is so much to do, without feeling rushed, we recommend at least a week stay every year for the next 30 years to fully appreciate Door County.
Our honeymoon was a 14-day trip around Lake Michigan on the same old Boston Whaler (motor repaired) our plan was to visit all the highly touted harbor towns on the Michigan side and then cross Lake Michigan, which I don’t recommend doing this in a 21-foot boat, spending the second half of our trip exploring Door County. That was only our second time in Door County, but our experience confirmed that Door County was a very special place; we found Door County exceptional. Numerous historic harbor towns in close proximity, 300 miles of varied shoreline of rock, bluff and sand, thousands of acres of State and County Parks on Lake Michigan (and Green Bay) and an iconic rural landscape.
After years of visiting Door County, we were lucky enough to find a small house in a unique location of Sturgeon Bay and have been renting this home to vacationers for over 4 years ( VRBO#505916). We have found this experience to be very positive and fulfilling by being a small part in helping people enjoy Door County. We have had such a positive experience that we decided to find exceptional homes in unique locations of Door County for vacation rentals. The Boyer Log Cabin is one of those properties (www.BoyerLogCabin).

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Boyer Log Cabin is located in rural Door County just a few brief minutes from Egg Harbor. Egg Harbor is the first harbor town after Sturgeon Bay on highway 42. It can be described as small and quaint and in our opinion, offers the best beaches on the Green Bay side. Just one block south of downtown Egg Harbor is the Village Beach that offers many amenities including an expanded playground, a small boat hand launch ramp, changing room buildings and walking paths. Another option is the Frank Murphy Park located 3 miles south. This park is 14 acres that includes a boat launch, walking path and sand beach. Egg Harbor is unique to have these two sand beaches as the Green Bay side of Door County is mainly rock shore.

This is an exceptional house in a unique location directly across from the Oak Road Nature Preserve just minutes outside the town of Egg Harbor. The Boyer Log Cabin is a newer construction Wisconsin Log Home offering 3 levels of living space, there is a bedroom and a bathroom on each level. It is a perfect option when travelling with a large family or a group because it affords a level of privacy that is not found with other vacation rentals. In addition, the outside space provides privacy from neighbors as it is set on a wooded 40-acre parcel. There are wide walking trails that meander through the hardwood forest of Sugar Maple, Beech and Birch. It’s a perfect location to explore Door County.
