Looking to escape the city lights and see bright stars for a few days?

This private log home is nestled among the maples, cedars, spruce, and birch trees. The landscaping is beautiful with three gardens for your pleasure with flowers that bloom from spring to fall. It also has a fire pit that looks out over the lake that you can enjoy during a beautiful sunset.

Make the Bayside Log Home your vacation home this year. It has 225' of shore frontage with its beautiful sunsets. Enjoy the wind blowing through your hair while gazing upon the water.

There is a sandy public beach for swimming and fishing within walking distance of the home as well.

This property has been rented for 10 years but we had to create a new page this year hence the reason for limited reviews. In the past, our place was a 4.6 star.

Perfect tranquility. View was amazing, everything we needed was in the cottage. Bedrooms were a great size. Will be a guest again in the future!

The location and lake views were beautiful, especially the sunsets. The cabin itself was musty, dusty, and could use a deep clean and some updates. Having to bring our own towels was also inconvenient. Gorgeous spot, but the place needs work.

Perfect home base for all we wanted to do in Door County. Kitchen well supplies. Lovely fire pit and plenty of seating outside. Beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!!

Our 3rd time there. Love the location, the quiet and privacy. The house is great-everything we need. We just needed to get away and relax, and you couldnt find a better place. Great sunsets.

Beautiful setting. I don’t realize the water was down stairs or small cliff. We enjoyed the space the property gave us. It was not as clean as I expected. Not enough toweling or toilet paper. Dog poop in the yard. One of our guest stepped in it. It was from a small dog and not ours as that was always picked up. Things need updating or repaired. Had a musty smell.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable with everything we needed but just rustic enough. Quieter spot but close enough to everything. Cozy. Exactly what we were looking for. Bring water shoes for the waterfront, but otherwise - Just enjoy this great location. Great, timely communication here too. WiFi was having issues when we were there, not a big deal for us, but property manager was super attentive and got a tech out right away to address it. She even brought us some fresh cherries from a nearby orchard. We’ll be back!

Great sunsets!

This is place is wonderfully located on a quiet road near Egg Harbor. The sunsets are spectacular. We loved the fire pit and beautiful views. We will definitely book again!

We have just returned from a week in Heaven! Gorgeous log cabin, but the patio, fire pit and the view blew this place out of the water. The sounds from the waves and a crackling fire made it so peaceful. Door County was friendly and very charming. We were there during the prime cherry picking and enjoyed the wineries. I 1000 percent recommend this place. The only thing we regret is time went so fast.

Lakefront cabin

This charming cabin offers direct access to the lake, providing a peaceful retreat with a lovely patio for enjoying lake views and outdoor meals. The location is quiet and serene, yet conveniently close to the town.

Charming Cottage on the bay

Lovely cabin with a very charming atmosphere. Loved being on the lake and falling asleep listening to the waves crashing on the shore. Plenty of room, comfy beds and furnishings. Great amenities oitdoors as well. Communication with staff was prompt. We did have an issue with the shower which would not drain properly leaving standing water in the new shower. So my partner only used it quickly once. That was a bummer since it was so hot out. I was told this was being fixed as soon as we left. They offered to have somone come to repair the problem while we were there but we still would have had to wait 24 hours or so to use it so we declined since our trip was short. We were thankful for the prompt communication. The photos on your site dont do it justice. I have attached some of mine.

Ideal location!

Wonderful property with great sunset views. Very clean and well appointed. Plenty of outside seating and tables. Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend this place. It was a great, relaxing getaway.

Breathtaking Views

The jewel of this rental is it's location. It was so peaceful. The lake view and sounds of the waves lapping on shore provided us many hours of relaxation as we simply sat by the lake and listened, or enjoyed morning coffee as the sun rose. My husband really enjoyed the fire pit. The cabin is a bit dated and could use some refreshing, but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Lightning issues

My major complaint about the property would be poor first floor lighting and multiple light switches that didn’t work. I was always unhappy with the fact that I had to provide my own towels. This fact should have been highlighted better.
