Hi Joe, Thanks so much for the review, that is a great home. The HOA requires us to put a roof over the hot tub, but guests are still loving it. I'm glad you guys had a good time!

Hi Suzanne - thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you had a great experience overall. I'm sorry about the dirty windows. We had just had a very big rain storm which left rain marks on all of the windows. We have since gone through and professionally cleaned the windows but unfortunately we were unable to clean then between the storm and your arrival (only had 1 day). So I apologize for that. As far as the brightness of the windows it's tricky. We treated them upon install when we built the home. However we have had renters complain they weren't bright enough and others complain they were too bright. So we try and be in the middle where they still let plenty of light in but not too much. Sorry they were too bright for you. I know that could be annoying if you are spending a lot of time in the room looking into the sun. We don't have cocktail tables in the home nor do we advertise them in the listing. However there are bars and tons of counter space etc in the 2 kitchens. We have never had a complaint that the oven wasn't hot enough. I'm not sure what you mean by that. It definitely is in great working condition and works like a regular oven. One of the arcade games wasn't plugged in correctly when we inspected after you left. We plugged it back in and it worked fine. Maybe one of your kids unplugged it? I"m sorry about that. Both kitchens are fully stocked so please email us specifically if there was something specifically that you needed that wasn't there. Hi Fran, thanks for the helpful review. That makes 3 people that have commented on the windows being too bright. We are going to go ahead and get those measured for blinds this week and installed by end of month. Thanks for the great stay!

Hi Mike - I really wanted to thank you for your review. I'm sorry that our home wasn't up to your standards. I just went through the home and it is very clean, organized and perfect for the group checking in today. Also they were very happy with the home. I would definitely say the home is not "beat up" or having issues with neighbors. We do say to not have parties and loud noise outside which is understandable considering the private setting and neighborhood. I verified that all rooms have wastebaskets and the home is clean. Again I'm sorry you had some issues during your stay. Would love to have you back and impress you on the next one! Thanks again for your review.

Unpredictable weather can lead to unforeseen issues, which is why I was pleased to give you both my personal cell phone number and my Property Manager’s direct contact information. This allowed us to stay in constant communication with you during your stay, particularly since we were aware of the challenging weather conditions and wanted to ensure your stay was as pleasant as possible. While our heaters are serviced on a regular basis, extreme low temperatures can cause them to work overtime. I am grateful that we were able to address this issue promptly given how busy everyone was trying to cope with the weather. We rely on guest feedback to identify any issues we may not have been aware of, such as the clogged drain, and I was relieved when you informed me Josh was able to fix it so quickly. Due to the weather, one of the rooms had some water damage on the ceiling. However, we had a professional fix it and there was no permanent damage. When I explained to you that it was just a spot on the ceiling that needed to be painted and not mold, you seemed to understand. I apologize for any difficulty you may have experienced trying to park your vehicle in the driveway due to the snow and ice. While we do not have the equipment to clear the streets or gutters as you pull into the driveway, our Property Manager clears the sidewalks and driveway after every snowstorm. When the snow is persistent, it can be challenging to keep up, which is why he also puts salt down to prevent ice from forming. I offer my sincerest apologies for the injury your guest sustained. Because accidents can happen, we work with Vrbo because of their exceptional insurance policy that safeguards both guests and hosts. As we explained, if there were any medical expenses, an insurance claim would need to be filed. It is not feasible for us as owners to reimburse out of pocket what you deem fair. Nonetheless, I am more than happy to cooperate with you in any way necessary should you decide to utilize the insurance that has been put in place for such incidents.
