Este encantador apartamento en la planta baja se encuentra dentro de un complejo privado seguro y acogedor, con dos hermosas piscinas, una adecuada para niños pequeños, cancha de tenis y área de juegos. Espacio de estacionamiento cubierto privado y seguro. Situado a solo 10 minutos al sur de la ciudad de Alicante ya 8 minutos del aeropuerto (lejos de la ruta de vuelo). Vistas del Parque Natural Clot de Galvany, con sus senderos naturales, áreas de picnic y puntos de observación ideales para la observación de aves. Dentro de 10 minutos a pie con sus fabulosas dunas de arena es la playa de Carabassi. A solo unos minutos a pie hay restaurantes, bares, supermercado y una parada de autobús local. Benidorm está a 30 minutos con el parque temático Terra Mítica y el parque acuático Aqualandia. A 5 minutos en coche se encuentra la antigua ciudad de Santa Pola con su castillo del siglo XVI, excelentes restaurantes, mercado al aire libre dos veces por semana y esta es la puerta de entrada a la isla deshabitada de Tabarca con su reserva natural bajo el agua.

Our Fourth visit to Gran Alacant, second time staying at Sue's apartment.The location of the apartment is well located in lower Gran Alacant. An Aldi, Carabassi beach, bars and restaurants all within 15-20 minutes walking distance.The apartment is in a safe and secure gated community with easy access to the two pools.The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped for the four adults during our stay..GA Central shopping area is further to walk (30mins) with more supermarket choices, more bars and restaurants and more shops.Next to the Aldi is Gabe supermarket that sells anything from screws to flip flops etc. There's also a market outside on a Thursday morning..We caught the local No3 bus at Carabassi beach to Alicante City for a day out. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your apartment...

Beautiful complex

We had a great family holiday here, complex is stunning very safe and so friendly! Chatted to lots of owners around the pool. Apartment is in a great bit right next to pool and has everything you need. Owner lovely to deal with. Would definitely return 😃

Excellent location

Apart from a little misunderstanding about how to get to the property everything else was ideal. Located next to the pool suited us but for others the noise might be a bit of a problem. Generally the walls are not well insulated so you can hear your neighbours. Great position for a short walk to the bars and restaurants and a little further to the beach. Local bus/train ride around the area is every hour just jump on and off where you want. Some good restaurants a short ride away. With a local Aldi store just opened whilst we were there. Accomodation recommended all facilities there for couples or small family.

Lovely stay.

We had a really lovely stay. The check in was difficult as taxi driver couldnt find the property. It might be more helpful if owners say which gate number to look for as the residential area is so large. The apartment was absolutely lovely and the outside space was amazing. The pictures dont do it justice. The two pools just steps from the apartment were lovely and clean and a lifeguard monitors both pools. Within walking distance is the lovely beach and a 5 minute walk from the apartment are a few bars and restaurants. We ate at the mexican on the corner most nights which does every kind of food with good portions and very reasonable. The kitchen is really well equipped so we did bbq there and there was plenty of utensils to cook with. There is an Aldi about a 15 munute walk away too. Sue and Ian were great with an early check in and a late check out. I would totally recommend this apartment for a lovely relaxing holiday in a well looked after, clean complex.

Best location for staying in Gran Alicant

Had a lovely family holiday in sue's apartment. If you want to stay in Gran Alicant it is the best location near the restaurants and beach. However, so glad we hired a car. There is a bus and a train that takes you to the supermarket etc. But in 32degrees heat and with 3 small children that wouldn't have been much fun. The nearest supermarket is 8 minutes drive away, the beach is a few minutes drive away and then 5 minute walk from the car park down the boardwalk to the beach. The apartment has everything you need, two large pools, large garden for sunbathing, BBQ etc. However the apartment could do with some updating. The electrics mean every time you cook an evening meal and have the oven and hobs on at the same time the electric trips. Easily fixed as fuse box in living room and was quite amusing by the end of our stay. Could also do with having hooks up in the bathroom or bedroom as nowhere to hang any towels, mirror in master bedroom would be great too. Previous people staying have left kitchen and bathroom products, which is great as then you don't need to buy salt and pepper etc. However, other people's belongings seemed to almost be in every drawer so bit frustrating when you are a family of 5 and you need storage! Especially in the kitchen. This apartment is perfect for a family but quite small for 3 couples, again with limited storage for the people staying on the sofa bed. Yes- we would definely return to this apartment if we decided to holiday in Gran Alicant again. Sue was very helpful and friendly and answered emails and phone calls when we had a question. This apartment was a good base to go and explore the local area. However super pleased we hired a car as that really made the holiday!

Hemos estado muy agusto , la urbanización ya la conocíamos desde hace 5 años que llevamos yendo, Los apartamentos los hay de todo tipo, unos mas acorde a españoles y otros a extranjeros,la piscina de 10 y los espacios comunes muy limpios y cuidados

Genial estancia para unas vacaciones en familia

Estupendo alojamiento para pasar unas vacaciones en familia. Todo perfecto, desde la comunicación y las facilidades que nos proporcionó Susan (nos consiguió una cuna de viaje, trona, etc...), pasando por las instalaciones tanto del apartamento como de la urbanización, con mención especial a la zona de piscinas. Ambiente muy tranquilo en el que se respeta el descanso. Sobre el apartamento, muy cómodo, con una limpieza impecable y bien surtido de todo tipo de enseres y electrodomésticos. Tiene también un estupendo patio en el que se puede descansar y disfrutar del buen tiempo. La zona, bien ubicada, a tres minutos en coche de múltiples playas para todos los gustos y con una pequeña zona comercial y de restaurantes cerca. Sin duda repetiríamos. Muchas gracias a Ian y Susan por todo!

Buena estancia

El apartamento estaba impecable cuando entramos, nos estaban esperando en la misma puerta para llevarnos a la casa y darnos las llaves. Durante la semana todo bien, equipado totalmente. Lo único que tuvimos algo en falta es alguna olla más grande para cocinar en más cantidad. La casa está genial y el baño muy equipado. El jardín es una maravilla para las noches, la piscina muy buena y las instalaciones como la pista de tenis dan un plus genial. Los dueños muy amables y todo genial, son muy agradables. Muy atentos con nosotros.

Sehr schöne Anlage

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit der Familie. Die Wohnung ist schön, die Anlage ist super, die Pools direkt vorm Haus. Sue reagiert schnell auf Emails und ist sehr freundlich. Vor Ort ist ein Auto sehr zu empfehlen.

Gran Alacant

Das Apartment war genau wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sauber gehalten. Pool war direkt gegenüber vom Apartment. Kleiner Supermarkt, 5 Minuten zu Fuß dafür aber 20 Minuten zum Strand zu Fuß. Nach Alicante und nach Santa Pola konnte man gut den Bus nehmen. Die Bushaltestellen dafür waren am Strand. Das Apartment liegt nicht genau in Alicante, sondern in einer kleinen neben Stadt, die sehr bergig ist. im Großen und Ganzen war unser Aufenthalt super entspannt. Das Wetter war optimal, und die Umgebung war sehr ruhig. Danke Susan:)

Third time to Gran Alacant.

Perfect 9 night stay. The location is ideal, you have everything you need close by including bars, restaurants, a new Aldi and Carabassi beach all within walking distance. The residence is superb and very well maintained. As for the apartment, it is just great as well as being very clean. Guests can enjoy a small terrace to the front as well as a garden area for the sun loungers (great for catching the sun all day) at the side in addition to the two pools, which are cleaned daily. Sue was very helpful at every stage of the process in answering my questions. All in all a Great stay for us. Thank you Sue.

The property was perfect. In a great spot for beach and local shops and bars. The local restaurants are good, especially the Indian which is top notch. The pool area is superb, safe and very well looked after. We would absolutely love to return asap.

Perfekt til børnefamilier

Vi havde en rigtig dejlig ferie i Gran Alacant og lejligheden levede op til dens beskrivelse. Vi var fire afsted inklusiv et barn på 6 og et på 1 1/2 år og lejligheden passede super til vores behov med få meter til en meget børnevenlig pool, hvor vi tilbragte rigtig meget tid. Kan varmt anbefale stedet og udlejeren.

Lovely Holiday

We had a lovely, restful week at Gran Alicant. The apartment itself is clean, modern and well kitted out with everything you would need for self catering. We were a party of three, grandma, daughter and granddaughter and so the two bedrooms (with travel cot provided) was more than adequate space for our party and the living room was bigger than expected. The position of the apartment (ground floor corner plot) meant the outside living area was ideal for us as it meant my two year toddler could play happily with balls etc without and run about without any concern for her getting out of the gated property. We did struggle to find the apartment in the dark on the evening we arrived since the buildings were all so similar and no one around to help but we got in eventually and would easily find it again. Loungers, chair cushions etc are all provided along with a host of beach equipment which is 5 mins drive away (or probably 20 mins walk). Literally 5 steps across from the apartment there are two pools with plenty of space around them, one of which has a shallow section suitable for children. The water was cold when we went (it was October) but we still managed to have a splash on a couple of days as we were particularly lucky with the weather. There are numerous restaurants and bars 5 mins walk away from the apartment, or alternatively we caught the tourist train a couple of times to different areas of Gran Alicant to try other restaurants. It runs every hour on a circle loop and was a fun way to get about and see more of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back to enjoy more family holidays. For someone like me who tends to avoid all-inclusive child friendly holidays (with kids clubs and the like) this was a fantastic alternative! Thank you Sue for providing all of the toddler equipment and for keeping in touch so regularly and checking in on us.

A lovely property to choose in Gran Alacant, with a pool and just 5 minutes away from the beach!

We stayed in this lovely, well maintained property over the Easter break with a family of 5, 3 of whom were young children. The villa had ample space for our family and a cot/highchair was also made available by the owner, as were a few bottled drinks and water, which made for a warm welcome. The owner of the property kept in touch at all times as required through the homeaway messaging app and offered advice to us when we requested it. The apartment has an outdoor pool but it is really most suitable to use in the summer due to the water temperature. Nevertheless our children did use it for a little fun and enjoyed it, despite the cold water! The property is a 5 minute drive to the local Carabassi beach, and around 20 minutes drive to the airport. There are some local bars and restaurants at the end of the complex, within 5 minutes walking distance, and a lovely little fish and chips restaurant we tried called Aquarius which was enjoyed by the whole family. The apartment is equipped with washing up liquid and sponges, cleaning products, a hairdryer, electrical adaptors, towels, plenty of cooking utensils and quite a few other items which have been left in the bathroom and kitchen presumably by the owner and previous guests, and we were told could also be used. English TV channels are available. There was a private seating and dining area for our villa which had sunbeds, a swinging bench, a dining table, chairs and a small bbq set. Buckets and spades can also be borrowed for use. The villa has a small play area outside with a slide and see-saw which the children really enjoyed having and the area always felt very secure. The views are beautiful from the apartment and there was private parking space available for our car. I would definitely advise anyone who is considering staying here to hire a car if you wish to get around, as I did not see any local taxis around. The area is a quiet and peaceful one and makes for a good relaxing choice of location. For more hustle and bustle, the promenade is only around 20 minutes drive away and is a lovely area, where the Santa Barbara castle is situated. There is a small retail park with shops and supermarkets such as Mercado and Lidl, within a 5 minute drive away. We also drove to other cities and it took us under an hour to reach Benidorm and around 2 hours to get to Valencia. Overall, the owner was pleasant and welcoming and has kept her apartment clean and maintained it to high standards.

Very nice property

Stayed for a week in October with family. Very nice apartment with two great pools for the kids. Apartment well equipped and clean. Met by our hosts who were very helpful on arrival. Short walking distance to a number of restaurants. About a 10/15 minute walk from a very nice beach with watersports and beach bars etc.

Lovely, modern and spotlessly clean apartment in a well kept complex. It had everything you could need right down to a cool bag and freezer blocks for the beach! Sue was very helpful throughout and greeted us at the apartment on our arrival with a few groceries as our flight arrived late evening. Beach was fantastic, big supermarket can be reached by the little bus or train without too much hassle. Nice little street of bars/restaurants close by. Would definitely visit again and have recommended to family and friends.

Fantastic

Sue was very helpful and kind. The apartment was excellent and the location was great with plenty of resturaunts ect nearby.The pool is right outside the property and was beautiful. An extremely relaxing and stress free holiday would definately go back to this excellent property.

Absolutely brill

Had a fabulous holiday in this apartment, it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, even playing cards and dominoes! Very relaxing and very well maintained throughout. Plenty of bars and restaurants just around the corner so no need to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Would definately go again!
