Gather your favourite people for a truly memorable stay at this beautifully renovated former church hall, which offers a one-of-a-kind base for large group getaways. It’s in the historic market town of Cockermouth, whose town centre (1 mile) is packed with independent shops, welcoming cafes and restaurants, along with a rich literary heritage as the birthplace of William Wordsworth. Wordsworth House and Garden (0.5 miles) is well worth the visit, while the edge of the Lake District National Park is only 1 mile away, opening up endless opportunities for walking, wildlife spotting and outdoor adventure. Bassenthwaite Lake (6 miles) is ideal for sailing, kayaking and scenic strolls, or head to Whinlatter Forest and Park (8 miles), home to Go Ape, mountain biking trails and rare wildlife. Beyond that lies Keswick (13 miles), known for its shops, eateries and vibrant atmosphere. The coast is also just 8 miles away.

On the ground floor, two spacious twin bedrooms each contain two double beds and benefit from their own en-suite shower rooms, and there is also an additional twin bedroom.
