This property is located close to the north-western edge of Dartmoor National Park, just 3 miles from the town of Okehampton, where there are a number of shops, takeaways, and supermarkets, as well as specialist shops which cater for Dartmoor’s walkers, cyclists, and climbers. Dartmoor itself offers many miles of scenic walks for all abilities, ranging from easy strolls through to challenging hikes and climbs. With great transport links nearby you will also be within a short drive of the stunning cathedral city of Exeter and within an easy drive of popular tourist destinations of the south coast and the unspoilt villages along the northern coastline. Other attractions within easy reach include Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct, Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, Okehampton Castle, the Miniature Pony Centre, Crealy Adventure Park and numerous National Trust properties.


This property offers comfortable accommodation for six guests and is accessed via a set of external stairs to the front door. Venture inside and through to the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers two sets of French doors which lead to outside and also let in a beautiful amount of light. Sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV or just enjoy an evening under the stars with the flame-effect electric fire glowing in the background. Keen cooks will enjoy the kitchen area which boasts a great range of appliances including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher and also a washing machine. After a long day, head down the hall where you will find the three pretty bedrooms; the first being the double room with its own en-suite shower room with WC, dressing area and a TV. The second and third bedrooms each offer twin beds, one with 2’6” single beds and then completing the offering inside the property is a lovely contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.


Venture outside onto the large decked terrace where you can fire up the charcoal BBQ (available on request - charges apply) during warm weather, or take a dip in the private sunken hot tub. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided. Finally, if you don't fancy cooking, there is also a pub/restaurant to enjoy on-site.

- Travel cot and high chair available

- TV/DVD in lounge and TV in the double bedroom

- Decked terrace area

- BBQ available to hire on request (£25 per week, payable directly to the owner — £10 refunded if the BBQ is left clean and in working order)

- Off-road parking for 2 cars

- Private hot tub

- Hot tub is emptied and cleaned after every stay, therefore it will not be up to temperature on the first evening

- Shop 1 mile

- Restaurant and bar within walking distance
