An ideal escape for a large group in a location famous for its scenic walks, local delicacies and towns steeped in history. Based on the eastern outskirts of the Yorkshire Dales, you can enjoy an abundance of walks In the local area. Visit the next village of Thornton Watlass with its welcoming country pub where you can sit outside overlooking the green. Pack a picnic and head out with the dogs to Thorton Steward Reservoir with wonderful circular routes or visit Thorpe Perrow Arboretum with over 100 acres of beautiful woodland gardens to explore. Just over 4 miles is Masham, a vibrant market town with two breweries and Gin distillery, take a tour and sample some local beer! Take a ride on the heritage Wensleydale Railway travelling on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales for a real slice of Yorkshire. Super local golfing options are available at Bedale and Masham.
