Nestled in a wonderfully peaceful rural setting with breath-taking views over the splendid Nithsdale Valley just off the A76. This property is located between the bustling town of Dumfries and the picture postcard large village of Thornhill. Thornhill boasts excellent amenities including an array of shops, great eateries, friendly Inns. Nearby Drumlanrig Castle and Gardens offers an adventure playground, a tea-room and woodland walks to enjoy. Less than 3 miles from the property is Ellisland Farm (home of world-famous poet, Robert Burns). There are many places for walkers to explore with numerous country trails and forest trails. Mountain biking is also very well catered for with the fantastic 7 Stanes in Dalbeattie Forest within easy reach. The Aviation Museum in Dumfries, The Food Town (Castle Douglas) and The Artist’s Town (Kirkcudbright) are all wonderful places to discover.
