Retreat to this enchanting house in the heart of Aberdovey. Friends, family and the dog can relax in this elegant period property and garden. This picturesque coastal resort with a harbour is home to a championship golf course and has miles of sand-dune-backed golden beaches. The Dyfi Estuary is a great favourite for a range of water sports and activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing, with regular yachting regattas in the summer. There’s also a wide variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants serving local seafood, a fantastic golf course and pretty beach, all within 0.2 miles. The village makes a wonderful base for eager walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering the stunning area – it’s an excellent all-year-round destination.
Walk into the hall and through to the gorgeous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with access to the tiered garden. The kitchen is a sociable space to rustle up a meal with your local produce purchases from the village. There is access to the courtyard where there’s a separate utility room. When the food is ready, the dining table is the perfect setting by the window for everyone to enjoy a meal and plan your holiday activities. The spacious lounge area makes a wonderful space for everyone to sit back and relax at the end of a great day out with comfortable sofas, chair and Smart TV for cosy nights in. Maybe enjoy a board game or cards at the table. When ready to retire, choose from three lovely bedrooms: the king-size with a charming en-suite shower room, the twin or the bunk bedroom. All have been designed with your comfort in mind and a good night's sleep, with lovely views to wake up to. Take a leisurely start to the day in the stylish shower room with WC. The fantastic boot room, which is accessed from the kitchen, leads to the downstairs WC and has plenty of space for your boots, coats, bikes and paddleboards.
Outside, the enclosed garden begins in the lower courtyard area with a pretty bench, the perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee. This is also where you’ll find the useful utility room with a washing machine. Up some steps sits the decked patio, and then on the level above there is more lovely seating. There are upper grassed areas that are perfect for an aperitif before dinner, embracing the stunning views from dawn to dusk.
