Nuestro escape elegante inspirado en Tommy Bahama, recientemente remodelado

Bienvenido a nuestro paraíso Sanibel. Nuestro condominio a nivel del suelo en Loggerhead Cay está ubicado en un entorno exuberante a solo unos pasos de la playa de arena y conchas del Golfo. Bellamente amueblado y completamente equipado con todo lo que pueda necesitar para una estancia de vacaciones relajante y llena de diversión. Date un chapuzón en la piscina, asa un poco de pescado o un filete de los mercados cercanos o toma un cóctel y contempla las puestas de sol. Bellamente amueblado con la comodidad de nuestros amigos y huéspedes en mente, el dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama king size, baño principal decorado con motivos de Tommy Bahama con un toque caribeño. Nuestra segunda suite privada cuenta con dos cómodas camas individuales con baño completo contiguo. Un sofá cama tamaño queen permite invitados adicionales. Nuestra casa cuenta con lujosos muebles de mimbre y mimbre de gran tamaño. La cocina está totalmente equipada para el chef gourmet. Nuevos televisores, Internet de alta velocidad y sistema estéreo están disponibles para su disfrute.


Nuestra puerta principal está a 5 pasos del estacionamiento. No es necesario cargar comestibles escaleras arriba ... ¡Solo traiga su cepillo de dientes y un poco de protector solar, sean nuestros invitados y comparta nuestro paraíso Sanibel! Muchas mejoras y comodidades.

Great place!

The condo was nice and clean with all the amenities. Walk-out porch was excellent for going out to the beach and sorting the many shells we collected. Beds were comfortable and google tv was a very nice thing to have available. Loved our stay!

Beautiful location

We loved the quiet beach, and the pool was very nice—I'm glad it was a freshwater pool and heated! Everyone was friendly. There was some construction going on, but they were very quiet and respectful. The condo has been completely updated and has all the amenities (full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach chairs, cooler). Overall, we had a great experience and will hopefully be able to go back soon!

Great location

Very nice ! Loved having beach stuff right there to use !! Floats, beach cart, chairs, sand toys, umbrella etc. Beach towels. Cushions are starting to show some age and master bathroom could use some new paint. Minor things. Beds were comfortable. Great location and I would definitely stay again !!!!! Loved it !

Spending time with family & friends at Sanibel

The rental process was easy and the owners responded quickly to our inquiries. Accommodations were just like pictured and described. Would rent this condo again when visiting Sanibel in the future.

Spring getaway

Enjoyed our time at Loggerhead Cay. Accommodations fit just what we needed. Beach was just a short walk away and the provide beach chairs, umbrella and even beach cart were incredibly helpful!

Wonderful 2 Weeks at Loggerhead 281

This our family’s 40 + years coming to Sanibel and the Loggerhead Cay. It’s our Easter tradition. Although Sanibel and the Loggerhead is like our second home, this was our first time in unit 281. The unit was well appointed with all the necessary amenities such as good quality beach chairs, kitchen supplies, etc. The unit was clean and the furnishings comfortable. The decor was fitting for an island get away. Although some things needed a refresh. But overall a great unit and with it being on the ground floor it made getting to the beach and pool very convenient. The host was very pleasant to deal with, responsive and attentive. I’d recommend.

Excellent Value at Loggerhead

We found the unit to be as described and pictured. Kitchen was well-supplied, beach items available, and the beds pretty comfortable. Location is tops. There is a little paint peel here and there, but I suspect that is a constant battle due to the relative humidity seaside! A few comments for planners: 1. I would not recommend this unit with very young mobile children (toddlers/preschoolers). Glass-topped tables and the decor would be a challenge with those ages. With elementary to teen children, however, the layout of this unit is outstanding, with the twin bedroom having its own bath. 2. We had a main grocery delivery via a Walmart on the mainland. If you have access to a W+ subscription or free trial, the prices and selection are far superior to the selections on island, and you don't have to do the Causeway yourself to supply. 3. The unit had only 3 dishwasher tabs and 2 laundry soaps, so if you plan to use those amenities plan ahead. In all, I recommend this unit and would book it again in a hearbeat.

Great condo for the price!

We enjoyed our week in this condo! Condo overall was nice. The master bathroom could use a paint update; paint was peeling in several areas. Not a huge deal, but it would also have been nice to have a pre-paid envelope to send the keys back to the owner versus having to make a trip to the post office and pay. Having said that, we would stay at this property again. We love Loggerhead.

Awesome vacation spot to relax or party! Great couples getaway or family Vaca!

281 is accommodating and equipped w/ most kitchen essentials, well stocked linens and towels (even beach towels!) Furniture could use some updating but beds are very comfortable! Brand new washer and dryer!!! We have been coming for 20 yrs and this time was w/o the kids! We actually got to spend time casually cruising around on bikes (highly recommended for getting around the island...rent from Billy's Bike rentals- they deliver!) Loggethead Cay has an AWESOME pool and excellent tennis courts, extremely easy access to the beach and this property is just minutes from everything you need for a great stay!

Good Value on the Beach

A week in a beach condo is a bit of a financial stretch for my family and I, so I'm more looking for value than luxury in a unit--this rental definitely met my expectations for this purpose and provided my family and I with a pleasant stay. The photos in the VRBO listing represented the condo well. The unit had plenty of space for my three-person family. Being on the ground floor like this was nice . . . easy loads and unloads from the car. We dined in almost all of the time and the kitchen was set up just fine for our needs (plenty of decent-quality pots and pans, etc.). The owner was VERY responsive to (and concerned about) a couple of maintenance issues we mentioned (they were addressed quickly), which we fully appreciated. We used the beach chairs, towels and other beach items that the unit provided--those were nice. If the condo were in this price range the next time I was booking a trip to Sanibel, I would keep it on the short list for booking again.

Great week on Sanibel

Great location, just a few minute walk to beach. Pool and grounds are very well taken care of. Condo could use some updating and carpet cleaning. Master bath was not functional (bath doesn’t drain) and could use some cleaning. Owner was quick to respond to a concern we had. Detailed instructions on check-in and check-out process made things very easy.

Comfortable Beach Condo

Loggerhead Cay is our "go to" place on Sanibel Island and this condo was not a disappointment. It was nicely decorated and well-appointed with all the necessities needed for our 2 week stay. Only small issues were the carpet needed a deep cleaning and the kitchen could use an update in the utensil department but otherwise was very adequate. The owner was receptive to a small problem immediately. Located just a short walk to the lovely shell beach and voila-- paradise found! Also, remember the no see ums can be present so bring your bug spray. Would stay here again.

Great complex & stay

We had a very nice stay for the week! The condo could use a small amount of updating but especially for the price it was a great location & had everything we needed during the week. Love that there was a bathtub in the master bedroom! Thanks!

Loggerhead Cay Rental

I rented from Amy in November for a sister's week to FL. Amy was quick to respond to my inquiries. The condo was just as described so no surprises. It's clean, comfortable and easy to get to on the island. Our car was parked right outside the door! Sanibel Island is so clean, everyone is friendly and very safe area. We walked the beach by the condo, and also searched out other beach areas for shells. My sister enjoyed walking around the local streets and snapped many pictures of birds and turtles. The pool is easy walking distance and then on to the beach! Shopped at Periwinkle Place and Tahitian Gardens. Jerry's Foods carries everything you need and more! We ate at the Pincher's Restaurant located closer to the city of Fort Myers on our last night and that was outstanding food and view. If you like some old rock-n-roll music and dancing, check out Bonita Bills on Monday nights-it rocks! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen area nice. Our suggestions would be that the tv be a bit larger and just mounted on the wall thus removing the shelf with all the mess of cords and other media. The couch, loveseat and large chair take up a lot of room and are not that comfortable. Replacing with smaller, more comfortable furniture would be appealing. The wifi was very slow all week-hard to download pictures, etc. But all in all, it is a very nice place, affordable, clean, convenient and I would rent there again and recommend it to others.
