El más grande de dos "A TIME TO SEA ..." Cabañas. Situado a pocos pasos de la playa pública de Earle Road, a poca distancia del puerto de Harwich, con todas sus tiendas y restaurantes, esta casa de campo es el destino de vacaciones familiar perfecto. Construido en 1942, esta encantadora cabaña Cape Cod de 840 pies cuadrados incluye un dormitorio principal con una cama matrimonial y un segundo dormitorio con 2 juegos de literas; ropa de cama y toallas incluidas. Esta cabaña totalmente equipada también incluye una cocina completa, comedor, sala de estar con chimenea, un porche, terraza exterior y una ducha al aire libre. Solo perros bien educados son bienvenidos con una tarifa de $ 100 por estancia.

Quintessential Cape

This beach cottage was super clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the location, being both walkable to the beach and a very short drive to Harwich Port town.

Cute, cozy, clean and charming Earle Road cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage.A quick walk to a beautiful beach or into town. Our hosts were wonderful and we would most definitely stay here again. We had a truly relaxing and wonderful vacation with our two Great Danes. James loved the home made authentic Scottish scones!

Cape Escape

This well maintained and updated cape cottage was perfect for us just a short walk to one of Harwich's great beaches. It had all the amenities we needed with a deck and grill just off the kitchen. John & Fiona were wonderful hosts. A place we will return to

Welcoming Cottage

The cottage was charming, with a great location walking distance to a beautiful public beach. Kitchen had all the supplies you need, and two showers, one outdoor was a luxury for us! Fiona even gave us a box of her delicious scones. Highly recommend!

Fiona and John were wonderful hosts sharing their stories and scones with us. The home is decorated beautifully and has a fully supplied kitchen and bath. The beach is a short distance and it is well taken care of. We hope to return next year!

Perfect Stay

Fiona and John were the perfect hosts, even rescuing us in the middle of the night when we locked ourselves out of the house. The house was clean and very close to the beach and all the attractions you could want. Beds were very comfortable, and the house was the perfect size for our adult children to visit during our stay. We would stay there again for sure but we loved it so much we bought a place during our stay. We would also highly recommend Fionas scones, makes a cape morning even better.

Special stay on Cape Cod

Cape Cod is our "Happy Place" and we were so fortunate to have found this gem of a cottage in Harwichport. It was the perfect place for me and my husband to spend one of the most beautiful weeks we've ever had on the Cape. This cottage was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed and every possible kitchen necessity. It's a short walk to Earl Road beach but you may want to take the long way around after enjoying Fiona's amazing warm scones...a very special treat! Thank you Fiona and John for sharing this home with us!

Dream Getaway!

This house is even prettier in person than in the pictures! The decor is lovely, the location is perfect...close to several beaches, walking distance to beautiful Earle Rd beach, close to all the best shopping and food! Could not have been more wonderful! We got to meet Fiona briefly and she instantly felt like a long known friend. I would happily stay there every time we visit the Cape!! Thank you for such a perfect home base for the week!

A lovely stay

This cottage exceeded all our expectations. It is adorable and spotless and had everything we needed. After being at home since mid-March my family was in desperate need of a change of scenery. This was the perfect getaway. It's very close to the beach, the deck and screened in porch were wonderful. My children (7 and 4) had a great time playing in the yard and LOVED sleeping in bunk beds. We hope to return next summer. Thank you Fiona and John!

A holiday “home away from home”

We stayed at John & Fiona’s cottage during Thanksgiving and had a very cozy stay. The beach is beautiful and super close. There were special touches left for us throughout the house…I cooked a big meal and baked two desserts and wanted for nothing. We’ve never stayed at a rental so well-stocked. In addition to echoing all the other fantastic reviews about the home, I also just have to add the shower is incredible. We did a day trip to Nantucket and the ferry was close-by and the area is easy to navigate. You’ll find restaurants and grocery stores without a problem, even “off-season”. Would love to go back!

Cape Perfection

What a superb home away from home on The Cape!! Cute house with everything you need for a beach vacation, including a beautiful beach within a leisurely 5-minute walk. Great deck with a gas grill. Beach chairs, dog run, and nicely decorated, well-furnished space inside the house. And, we can’t forget to mention the hosts, John and Fiona! Very friendly folks! Last but not least…Fiona’s scones. Yowza…you wake up during the week when Fiona is baking and the aroma of fresh-baked scones wafts over to your cottage. Then, you eat them…simply amazing! This is the place to stay on The Cape!!

Excellent Cape Cottage - Highly Recommend

If we could give this cottage 100 stars, we would! The cottage is spotless and so well-appointed. You feel the cozy costal vibe as soon as you walk through the door. John and Fiona have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It is rare to find the number of thoughtful touches in a Cape rental that you find in this cottage. The beach is just a quick walk down the road and is very clean. We went during the off-season and were able to drive down to the lot and park for free, but it is easily walkable during summer months. We were also able to walk the beach with our two dogs, since it was after Labor Day, and they loved it. John and Fiona are excellent hosts! They have honestly thought of everything — even the ice cube trays were filled for our arrival! You can tell that they love the space and hosting, it shines throughout the property. Fiona’s scones are incredible — I highly recommend grabbing them fresh, you won’t regret it! We’ll be back in 2024! Thank you, John & Fiona!

Beautiful home.. Just a few things to note

We had a great week at this property. The house is adorable and has everything you'd need for a week long stay. Just a few things to note that weren't super clear and might be helpful to others. There is no AC in the bedrooms, there is one HVAC wall unit in the living room that is supposed to cool the whole house, which means you'd need to leave it running all day (which I don't like to do) and leave bedroom doors open, which doesn't work when you need to put little kids to bed. When i asked about this they were very quick to say they'd come put window units in the bedroom but maybe just good to know ahead of time. We ended up having a mild week and really didn't need AC at all but I can imagine in the heat of the summer those bedrooms need AC units. Also, the washer/dryer is a single unit European machine with washer/Dryer in one. These do not work very well. We had to dry our clothes on the line, which would be fine but it rained a few days so this hindered our ability to do laundry. I typically like to come home from these weeks with my laundry all done so this was a minor inconvenience for us. Not the end of the world just something to note. Aside from this we had a wonderful week and the home was great!

All that we hoped for

The cottage is cozy and very well stocked. The beds and bedding are comfortable as is the living room furniture. We did a fair amount of cooking, and the kitchen didn't lack for anything aside from pot holders. The 10 minute walk to the beach is an easy stroll down the road. I hope we can rent again. We were all very pleased with our stay.

It was just perfect!

We stayed at the cottage one week in October . It was just has we expected. The cottage is couple minutes walking from the beach. It clean, well furnished and the owner are very responsive. Just fantastic!

True New England Vacation

The minute we opened the door, the cottage truly felt like our home away from home. The exterior style of the house, coupled with the nautical interior decor provided the background for a true New England vacation. We enjoyed our daily walks with our dog to the beach, and didn't have to venture far for shopping or restaurants. Fiona and John were very gracious hosts, and we can't wait to return next year!

PERFOW....a combination of Perfect and WOW!

What a great getaway. The home was clean and convenient for the beach. Because it was after Labor Day, our dog, Nash, was able to join us for walks on the beach. Not sure how they did it but the house feels a LOT bigger than the listed 904 SF. Thanks so much for a great weekend getaway. I even took a quick plunge into the ocean on Saturday :)

Friendly and accessible hosts. Everything as advertised. Cottage clean, well taken care of, and well equipped with kitchen utensils, condiments etc. Beach chairs and sun umbrella available for use. Nice location within short walking distance to lovely public beach. We had a great time!

Summer vacation

Fiona and John were awesome host. Very accommodating for us, especially in light of the pandemic. Absolutely perfect location on the Cape, and even better if you love the beach.

After 20 years of active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, we retired to Cape Cod with our 3 children. Harwichport has been a great place to live and offers beautiful beaches along Nantucket Sound, and quaint villages with charming restaurants, shops and outdoor activities. We live next door to the cottage and will be available to help make your vacation a wonderful experience.
