Our review won’t hit the same as we were in search of a cozy Thanksgiving getaway as opposed to some summer LOTO fun but I still can’t say enough about the layout and windows of this home being perfect for extended groups or families. We joked that it was football on the first floor, holiday movies on the 2nd and some gaming on the 3rd! The kitchen was FULLY equipped for even a Thanksgiving dinner down to a potato masher and meat thermometer. We were able to squeeze 8 of us around the table to fully enjoy each other, a fantastic meal, and games each night. Two primary bedrooms was also nice for the adult couples and the sleep number in the north bedroom was very comfy. Also if I could replicate the water pressure in my own home, I would be over the moon. We lost count of the number of deer and for a few very chilly stints some of the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Parking was very ample (careful backing in, it drops off) and the outdoor space looked to be perfect for warmer times. The electric fireplace units gave us a cozy vibe (open flame gas or wood are next to impossible to find at the lake in recent years) but we most enjoyed all of the windows and lake view. A cold foggy last day gave us some gentle wave sounds even! We hope to return as finding the room for kids versus adults is always a challenge. We would also like to get a few more pets in on the cutest and friendliest little dog next door.
