House was great for 5 couples. Boat dock and outside living space was great. Electical challenges noted (lots of remotes with no batteries, could not figure out remotes for all rooms (two rooms were controlled by 1 remote which was challenging)

Beautiful, peaceful property with lots of space and easy parking. Perfect for a multiple family vacation that included young ones.

Great location for family trip!

Found the owner very Communicative and no problems getting into the house. The house was advertised and our family really enjoyed the quiet and secluded location.

Good place for a family outing

Fairly easy to find and check in was a breeze. Driveway is a bit steep, but not unmanagable for most vehicles. Property was in overall good condition. We would stay again next year.

Great group house on the lake

Perfect house for an extended family group, large covered outside space where we spent a lot of our time as it rained while we were there, great sized kitchen for everyone, nice dock with paddle boards and lily pads, easy communication and quick communication with owner. Thanks for all the tips about specifics of staying at the house, we really loved it.

Great Place to Stay

A great place to kick back and relax! Quiet, clean with plenty of room for the whole family. The dock and boat slip were in great shape. It was too cold to swim but the cove would have been the perfect place to get in the water. We're keeping it on our list of places to go again!

Relaxing and Spacious Hideaway on Cove

We had a great 4-night stay. Property was clean and as described, bugs were not a problem as long as you kept lights dim at night. Lots of outdoor seating and comfortable amenities throughout. Friendly for dogs with areas outside for potty breaks and barriers/gates to keep from roaming. Highly recommend staying at this place.

Very cozy house.

We loved the house. Very roomy and clean. All the basic amenities were there. We were there during off season, so the lake was not very busy. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Would recommend off season for those looking for peace and quiet.

Amazing place, loved it!

This place is definitely deserving a 5-star review. Everything went smoothly and the house was everything we hoped it would be and some. The host was tremendous in helping with any questions. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect getaway! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the house this weekend, will definitely book again.

Good Stay

A little bit older of a house with some wear, but nothing major was broken. Comfortable beds, huge dock with paddle boards, tubes, and lilly pads. Priced right for what you get and the owner was easy to get in touch with and reaponded quick when i had any questions.

Has potential to be enjoyable

This was our 7th annual Christmas in July. Always go vrbo, second time to this destination. Upon arrival, discovered the ac was not working. Reached out for assistance. Response was prompt, but required us to attempt light maintenance. Got through that only to discover one of the dirtiest homes we have ever encountered. All bed sheets and covers were not clean. There wasn't one place to sit without feeling the need to cover as not to feel grossed out. Mold on the exterior decks made wet surfaces hazardous. Yes, it is waterfront property. But if it being rented out, there is a level of responsibility on the owner/property managers part. Overall, just a house that truly needs a mainteance and housekeeping overhaul.

A fantastic week

We had a fantastic stay with 4teenage girls and 4 adults. The outdoor patios and gazebo are perfect to relax and look at the lake. There was plenty of room in the house and a quiet cove to float. Great communication and quick responses from Bre. Would definitely recommend.

Ozark Getaway

The location was nice since it is on an isolated cove that was quite. It was only about 10 minlute boat ride from the Shawnee Bend boat ramp. The house was as described on the listing but it does need some attention to the weeds surrounding the house and upper deck, otherwise lots of room in the kitchen and dinning area.

This is a beautiful home on the lake we enjoyed ourselves, only thing I will add is it needs some basic upkeep on certain things. The host was very responsive to all my questions. Over all great experience, I would recommend.

Secluded Lakefront Getaway

We were very pleased with the property. Its a 45 min boat ride from the ramp to the property on my pontoon and the weather was awesome! The dock on property is very nice with more amenities than we even used. Our initial impression was the patios were covered in tree debris but the Host even left a leaf blower and 5 mins it was all good to go! Would definitely recommend.

Location, Location, Location

This house is in the back of a very private cove and while the boats were out in force and the main channel was very choppy, the water back in this cove was calm. Caught a lot of fish and the swimming was awesome. The house is great and the view is something that is hard to describe. There are 3 areas for the families to congregate and the deck off the main bedroom was great to sit in the mornings and watch the lake come alive. STRONGLY suggest booking this house, it was great week with family.

Nice enough but poor communication at check in and lots of bugs!

Overall the property is fine for the price point, but beware that we were overrun with bugs, especially at night. Also, had some issue getting access when we checked in and I reached out both through the app and directly to the number provided and never heard back.

Nice place

Overall stay was great. The place has beautiful view, and the dock is a bonus for us, having a bass boat and fishing on a tournament we don't have to wait in line at the boat ramp. This house can accomodate of large group of people. Host Bre was wonderful, she answered all my inquiries in timely manner. The only thing i would wish is the listing don't show the frt of the house. It is hard to have a boat and a trailer park in front of the house. Driveway going to the house is very steep, we had to backout to the roadway with our boat trailer to get out. Other than that, no complain! Thank you for our wonderful stay/1

Great privacy & views

This home is perfect for a private getaway that offers solitude & wonderful views. Checking in took a while due to keypad not working & instructions not being clear, and the Wi-Fi information was also never shared with us. There were a few issues (like the main stairwell handrail was broken), but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our time there. Bre was quick to respond & help as best she could.
