A 16. 000 s. metro. Zona de increíble belleza, promete una estancia rejuvenecedora y elegante en el corazón de un paisaje verde. Déjese relajar con el sonido de las cigarras y el gorgoteo de agua.
En la planta baja hay una cocina totalmente equipada, comedor, amplio salón con chimenea, lavabo y una terraza con vista panorámica de la finca y el mar. A 28 s. metro. estudio completamente independiente con una habitación, baño con ducha, armario, cocina eléctrica, T. V. LCD, aire acondicionado, sistema de alarma y una terraza con vistas al mar, el jardín y las montañas.
En el primer piso hay: 1 dormitorio (33s. M.) Con dos camas individuales, armario, baño con ducha y jacuzzi, terraza con vista panorámica al mar, la finca y la montaña. Otro dormitorio con cama doble y armario con vistas a la parte sur de la finca y las montañas. Una tercera habitación con una cama individual grande, armario y vista panorámica a través de doble acristalamiento. Las dos últimas habitaciones comparten un baño espacioso y lujoso y una terraza (28 m.) Con una mesa para 6 a 8 personas. En el primer piso también hay un pequeño trastero (3s. M.)
En el sótano hay una sala de lavandería, un trastero, un baño y espacio suficiente para alojar a 2 personas más.
La villa está rodeada por un parque de salud, un olivar, viñedos, árboles y plantas autóctonas y un huerto, todo accesible solo para los inquilinos de la villa. Nuestras instalaciones también ofrecen una gran piscina privada con jacuzzi, tenis de mesa, así como una piscina infantil más pequeña, duchas al aire libre, sombrillas y tumbonas y una barbacoa.

Just like a mini mansion

Beautiful home and property. Spotless more amenities than you need….great location…local beach walking distance….restaurants and food shopping all within 10minutes away…awesome pool on the property, bbq…like a resort!!! Highly recommend…the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating … the owner as well…

Villa was really a 3 bedroom villa with an attached studio and a bedroom in the basement next to the laundry room. Most tables would only accommodate 6. Reasonable level of equipment but most was old and tired. Manager was very helpful and pleasant. Location was not as described, it would be a long hot walk down to the beach and a tiring uphill climb back.We could not recommend it and feel we have been conned.If the adjacent villa is ever completed it would lose the only benefit of privacy.

The Villa totally exceeded our expectations ! Stunning set up everything that was needed was available - lots of space for everyone to chill. The beach was a lovely (slightly hilly ) walk in the mornings with a friendly cafe. Small supermarket walkable in the opposite direction with basic supplies covered. We used a taxi from Chania reasonably priced. Would return happily.

Fabulous

Amazing, spacious villa with all the facilities you could wish for. Welcome pack in the fridge and the stock of other essential items, such as washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc, was an extra nice touch. The villa was very clean and a thorough midway clean was carried out during our stay. Mr Solonas was fantastic; discrete but attentive and addressed and questions/issues we had quickly and effectively. Kalathas beach is beautiful. It is not far to walk but the uphill walk back to the villa in the heat of the day is not for faint hearted. Great supermarkets, restaurants and other areas to explore are close by but would definitely recommend having a hire car. During our stay the other villa within the gated grounds was not in use so we had an incredibly private space to enjoy. Thank you so much we really had a wonderful stay at the villa.

Amazing, great location, sparkling clean !

Amazing ! Location is perfect! We were family of 6 Adults and we all have our space for our own, the welcoming food in the fridge was so warming, thoughtful and helpful (when you arrived late in the day), the elevator was excellent for bringing the luggage up and down, oh…. The cleaning lady room ( that’s how we called it) - there is an extra small completed furnished apartment next to the house is prefect for your independent kid who wants privacy !! Wifi is working all over including at the poolside! There are the noise of the planes but is not a big issue, when the fighter jets passing, all the boys will run out to see, we considered it as an extra entertainment! Overall, we give 6 stars if 5 stars is the full rating ! Thank you for Solos taking care of us for the week !!

Secluded but not quiet

Beautifully set in the hils above Kalathas beach (about 20 min walk down, 10 min run ) are the 2 Villa Onar. Lovely pool and grounds with olive trees, grape vines and garden. The Villa has perfect air conditioning and many areas for outdoor dining. Mr Solanis was very helpful with everything and the ladies came and cleaned once during our stay. Now as I was saying… secluded but not quiet… there are the airplanes ( I love them, especially the fighter jets training!) and the wedding venue about 100 meters from the Villa (saw 3 weddings during my stay and loved it 🥰) but the noise is a welcome reminder that you are not alone… and yes, mamma Mia songs where plaid Then there are the Cicadas who live there in the Olive trees. I do recommend falling in love with their song ! But it’s best to duck down when running out to the gate cause the will fly into youDid runs both upp and down the street and some trails off the road, recommend bringing water or run early in the morning. Fantastic sunsets and a lovely mama cat that came to visit with her 4 babies (best not to feed says Mr Solanis it has a home nearby). I recommend Taverna Irene and Zorbas beach (Stavros)and do sincerely hope that other guests appreciate the Villa Onar as much as we did… it’s all about loving what you have selected

Superfint hus med allt man vill ha.Bra poolområde med grillplats. Städning mitt i veckan. Vi kom mitt i natten och de hade fixat frukostgrejer. Fin utsikt. Dock mycket kuperat med smala vägar. Fin strand ganska nära, men det är mycket backigt så det tar en stund att gå hem. Det skulle finnas solstolar på stranden, men det fanns det inte när vi var där i slutet av maj. På grund av läget så behöver man absolut bil.

Amazing property so well equipped in a beautiful setting.

This house is stunning, set in a fabulous location. The property is immaculate, a high level of cleanliness and perfect location. Great spot for the beach, great views and discovering Chania. The property manager was extremely helpful.

Fantastic villa, close to amazing beach

We absolutely loved our stay, the villa was clean and beautiful, big enough for the whole family to have their own room. The pools were great and very clean, with beautiful views to the coast. Clean, sandy beach 5 minute drive away and supermarket only 10 minutes. Easy drive to Chania too. Owners were great, the gardens were wonderful and we will definitely book here again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

An amazing holiday villa

We had a wonderful week here. Our family of 8 enjoyed this amazing villa. Beautiful area, tranquil surroundings, fabulous vista. The villa is of a very high standard of accommodation with everything you could possibly need. The pools were great, so good to have one for the children too. Having an elevator was a bonus for all ages. Can’t recommend this villa highly enough!

A Week away 22nd May 2019

Wow, My family of 8 has just stayed in this beautiful villa, built to a very high spec, and well maintained. A welcome pack, food and drink was awaiting us when we arrived, a nice gesture so a supermarket run was not needed straight away. We were also greeted by the owners to show us round. There were more then enough rooms to cater for us and more, plenty of bathrooms and towels. Outside there are 2 pools with a bbq and wood fire oven, perfect for evenings to cook meals brought from local markets, the grounds of the property are kept beautifully with plenty of flower, herb and olive trees to go and explore. Supermarkets are a walk or short drive away as well as the brilliant local beach. The villa is set in a quiet location with views of the mountains and the sea. Lots of great beaches and restaurants all just a short drive away. I would not hesitate to return here and fully recommend staying at the Villa and would give it 10/10 rating! Beautiful home in a great location

Our family and extended family, a party of 10, spent five beautiful days in this villa in Kalathas. The house had a beautiful pool with the latest amenities. The house and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool day or night. It is a short 10-15 minute walk downhill to the gorgeous Kalathas beach. A car is needed as it is a 20 minute drive to Chania. The manager of the home was very accessible at all hours. He greeted us at the villa when we arrived after midnight to show us the villa and answer any questions we had about the villa or Chania. We would definitely go back to Crete and stay in this villa.

Tolles Haus mit hervorragender Ausstattung

Wir waren eine Woche zu Pfingsten mit 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) in der Villa Onar. Wir wurden freundlich vom Besitzer und vom Verwalter begrüßt. Letzterer ist ständig telefonisch erreichbar - und jeden Morgen vor Ort, um sich um das Grundstück zu kümmern. Das Haus ist super! Mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht - und noch viel mehr. Es gäbe viele Dinge positiv hervorzuheben (genug Handtücher in den Badezimmern, große Laken für die Sonnenliegen, komplette Küchenausstattung...), aber das beste für uns waren die völlig unversehrten Mückennetze an allen Fenstern und Türen. So kann man auch abends problemlos lüften und mit geöffneten Fenstern schlafen. Die Klimaanlage haben wir im Mai daher nicht benutzt. Mit dem Auto ist die Villa prima erreichbar, Strand, Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe. Und ja, es gibt einen Flughafen und dort starten und landen auch Flugzeuge. Hier muss jeder selber entscheiden, ob ihn das stört. Nachts gibt es wenig bis gar keine Flüge, tagsüber ist man unterwegs... gestört haben uns allerdings wirklich die Militärflugzeuge, die um einiges lauter unterwegs sind als die Linienflieger. Auch das vorher schon erwähnt Event-Hotel ist vorhanden, dort war aber nur an unserem Ankunftsabend Party, anschließend absolute Ruhe. Der Pool ist super gepflegt, die Liegen ausreichend vorhanden, mit dicken Polstern und den schon erwähnten Badelaken. Nicht nur die Kinder haben das tägliche "Planschen" genossen. Und das allerbeste: nach der Hälfte der Zeit kam eine Haushaltshilfe, hat das ganze Haus gereinigt und es gab frische Handtücher. Der Besitzer bitte bei Anreise darum, dass man mit seinen Dingen respektvoll umgeht. Das sollte selbstverständlich sein und nicht einer Extra Bitte bedürfen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Beautiful villa with lovely gardens and scenery. Quiet and peaceful locations

We stayed here for 1 week with family and 3 young children. It was immaculate, spacious and really well kept. It's only 10 minutes to the big supermarket were we got our supplies for the week. The pools were great, especially the smaller pool for kids which they spent the whole week in. The owner allowed us stay longer on our last day because we had a later flight which was a godsend with 3 young kids, we really appreciated it! The whole family had a wonderful time and it was good for us to take time to relax and spend time together. I would recommend this villa to families as it so big and spacious, plenty of room for the 9 of us. We all would love to visit another time. Thanks for everything!

Komfortables Haus mit Klimaanlage in Strandnähe (Kalathas 12 Minuten zu Fuß)

Es ist gut, wenn man sich die Lage des Hauses auf Google Maps - am Besten mit Street View - ansieht, da es keine Adresse, sondern nur Koordinaten zum Finden des Hauses gibt. Dann kann man nämlich das Einfahrtstor leicht erkennen. Wir sind nie ganz sicher gewesen, aber der Ort in dem sich das Haus befindet dürfte "Kampani" heißen. Ein sehr netter Hausbesitzer empfängt die Gäste mit seiner Assistentin und man merkt, er ist sehr stolz auf das schöne Haus und den liebevoll gestalteten Garten rundherum. Das sollte man auch als Gast respektieren und nicht mutwillig etwas kaputt machen, das würde ihn sehr schmerzen. Als nächsten Nachbarn (ca. 200 m entfernt) hat man ein Event-Haus (http://www.ktimareveli.gr/index.php/en/) in dem gut hörbar ca. 1 x in der Woche bis tief in die Nacht gefeiert wird (Hochzeiten) - stört im Urlaub aber normalerweise eh nicht. Am - auch gut zu Fuß - erreichbaren Strand gibt es eine Taverne, die auf den ersten Blick zwar nicht so toll aussieht, aber mit bester Speisenqualität und eindrucksvoll gut englisch sprechendem Personal und natürlicher Freundlichkeit uns so überzeugt hat, dass sie zu unserem Stammlokal wurde. Der nahegelegene Strand Kalathas ist wunderschön und trotz Hochsaison ist genügend Platz um sich auszubreiten. Wenn ich ein Flieger-Freak wäre hätte ich auch 5-Sterne vergeben, da sich das aber in Grenzen hält, haben die Flugzeuge - auch immer wieder F16 Flugstaffeln - nicht unbedingt meine Erholung gefördert. Da der Flughafen Chania aber nicht sehr frequentiert ist schmälert das die Erholung kaum. Wer gut zu Fuß ist sollte zum nahegelegenen Kloster Gouverneto fahren und dann den Weg zur Bärenhöhle und weiter zum Kloster Katholiko zur imposanten Brücke gehen. Belohnt wird der Weg zum Meer (eher für sportliche) mit einer wunderschönen Bucht, die mit glasklarem Wasser zum Baden einlädt. Das Haus liegt als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflugsziele optimal und das gemütliche Frühstück am Pool war immer die perfekte Stärkung zum Tagesanfang für längere Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Auf eines aber sollte man gefasst sein, dass es auch schöne Windböen gibt, die aber in Anbetracht der hohen Temperaturen nicht unangenehm sind - Servietten oder andere windanfällige Sachen sollten allerdings gesichert werden. Wir, eine Freundesgruppe, hatten auch zwei Kinder mit, für die der Pool natürlich die perfekte Freizeitgestaltung war. Auch Tischtennistisch haben wir gerne gespielt. Unseren Urlaub haben wir hier sehr genossen!

Beautiful villa with great pool area

This is a lovely house, with a beautiful outdoor area. The owner takes good care of his place, and want you to do the same. If you appreciate a nice home (and to treat it well), this is the place for you. Everything in the house is clean and fancy. The pool area is absolutely perfect and the kids, and the parents;), loved it. The villa is located in the countryside/rural surroundings, in a more quiet part of Crete. The farmers will come with the sheeps by the road in the morning, and the sunset is quiet and beautiful. At first I thought that it maybe was too far away, but it was the best place to be for us. The perfect place to get away, relax and enjoy. We had a car and went to Chania (ca.15 min drive) a couple of times, very nice in the old town (just keep away from the most tourist areas near the harbour;). We drove to Agia Marina, Kato Stalos and Platanias, and we were so happy we didn't ended up living/staying there. So busy and too much tourist area for us. Going back to lovely Kalathas, the house and not to forget, the Kalathas beach, was fantastic. The beach is so nice and charming with soft sand and shallow -perfect for the kids. It was clean, had a little kiosk to buy milkshake or cold beer, and a charming tavern serving local food. Sunbeds to rent if you want. We were welcomed with some food and wine at the arrival, and the owner showed us the area and nearest supermarket where you can buy everything you need (not far to drive). We loved our stay in this beautiful villa, and maybe we will come back one day:)

Wonderful!

Had a wonderful family holiday here. The villa is fabulous, the children were never out of the pools, the garden is lovely and the accomodation is of very high standard. Chania is not far and a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back.

“Great place!!!”

We wanted to get away from it all and this Villa offers everything you could wish for to totally chill. The villa is an oasis of calm with beautifully simple, stylish accommodation. One week at this villa, very nice place , pool area fab, clean and tidy host great , loverly setting , we will return .
