Gorgeous, comfortable, clean, spacious, well thought out home! This was our second stay in 2 years and we hope to be back again. The property is lovely. The pool is wonderful! We used the back deck more this year and enjoyed every minute. Joann has thought of everything down to the high end bathroom amenities including plush towels and robes! Can't say enough about this lovely vacation home!

We had a fantastic week staying at White House! This was our 3rd time staying at White House. JoAnn makes it feel very welcoming. The pool is wonderful, a highlight every trip. We enjoyed going down to the Miami park beach, much easier to get to with the walk way finished. We enjoyed grilling out a few times. The house is well stocked with evrything you could need. Thank you JoAnn for opening your wonderful home, we hope to be back next summer!

This was our 4th year in a row at Jo Ann's White House, and we're already looking forward to our 5th next year. What can we say...we absolutely love this property, its location, and of course, the crown jewel of private pools! Jo Ann is an amazing host and always provides a slew of amenities to make our stay comfortable and stressless. Perfectly located just north of South Haven, it's an easy trip to Douglas/Saugatuck or to the many wineries/breweries throughout the area (Saugatuck Brewing, Modales Vineyard, and Virtue Cider are a few of our favorites). Until next year!

South Haven Oasis

The whole experience at the White House was great! Jo Ann is the nicest and most responsive host we loved our stay there! You feel at home and everything you need is there! We especially enjoyed the pool, walking down the street to the private beach and watching sunsets. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful home to us!

Pristine and Well Stocked for Families!

This place was a dream. The property, pool, and provided amenities were exactly what we needed. Convenient to private beach, public beaches, South Haven and Saugatuck. Jo Ann was responsive when we asked a few small questions, and the house was gorgeous. We will be back!

Beautiful week in South Haven

We (my husband, kids 10 & 5 & I) spent our 2nd week at White House Aug 16th - 23rd and it was fantastic. The home is lovely, well stocked and clean. The pool is just as amazing as we remembered from last year. It is perfect. We did use the Miami park neighborhood beach this year, a nice perk of the neighborhood if you don't want to go into town to the public beaches. We also used the beach parking passes for the public beaches and that is wonderful not to have to pay for parking or park blocks away. My husband really enjoyed the Nespresso machine every morning! We used the robes for wrapping up after swimming because it was a bit breezy and "cool" only in the lower 70s some days and got into the mid 50s at night. The neighborhood is so nice, quiet and the neighbors were very nice. We watched some sunsets down at the end of the street over looking the bluff, so beautiful. We love the White House and hope to come back again next summer!

Relaxing stay in beautiful home

This property is even more beautiful in person than on line. The owners have thought of every detail to make your stay feel comfortable and even better than home. The property was gorgeous and quiet, but just a short drive to town and everything you could need. We vacation in South West Michigan every other year and this is by far one of our favorite places that we have stayed!

Round 3, as Good As Ever

This was our 3rd time back in as many years, and we're already booked for a 4th. We can't say enough good things about this house and it's pool. Our only regret is not having more time to spend there. Jo Ann is a superb host. The house is always clean and stocked with everythi weng you need to make sure you spend your time the right way, vacationing!

Wonderful property

The property was clean, and well represented on Vrbo site. Wonderful home, close to beach with locked gate to enter to ensure only property owners/tenters can enter. Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen! We had everything we needed to prepare meals, bake pies with those wonderful Michigan peaches. Owner was attentive and always available for questions. Beautiful pool, clean and warm, assortment of bikes in the garage. Our grandkids had a great time in the pool, and on the bikes. Close to town, and farmers markets.

Family Togetherness

We stayed for a week at the White House and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everything was perfect. The hostess is just exceptional. She makes you feel so welcome. The house is fully stocked, very clean, the beds are comfortable and all the appliances are in working order. Of course the swimming pool was a definite thumbs up for the grandchildren. They loved it and spent quite a few hrs. having the best time. I would highly recommend a stay; you will not be disappointed. We are contemplating booking again next year--our 3rd year stay!

Property exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home. Beautiful location. Amazing sunset views. Wildlife roaming the property day and night. We stayed for 7 days for a girls trip and it couldn't have been better.

Wonderful home, pool and vacation!

We just stayed at White House Aug 18-25 and it was simply wonderful. The home is beautiful inside and outside, clean well stocked and plenty of extras. Definitely very welcoming and doesn't feel like a rental. JoAnn and Ryan really make it very comfortable and inviting. The "rules" were simple and straight forward, which sometimes at a rental can get very long. They both were very quickly to respond with any questions. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 9 &4) had plenty of room to be together and to have our own spaces. Outside was wonderful too. Large yard, kids could run around and play outside and the street is quiet so they could ride their bikes/scooters. We grilled out and ate dinner on the deck overlooking the the blueberry orchard, so peaceful. Enjoyed the hammock in the afternoons, might have even taken a cat nap! And what can I say about the pool. It was the best. We were in it every day for hours. The kids absolutely loved it. We loved that it was large and there was a fence around it separate from the house. Felt very safe with kids. The beach parking passes were a bonus, we always spend a lot of time at the beach and it was nice not to have to pay to park or park blocks away. Very thoughtful. This was our 7th time spending a week in South Haven and we have stayed at some really nice houses but White House takes the cake. It is by far our favorite. We hope to spend another week! Thanks for opening your lovely vacation home to us!

Awonderful week

It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The pool was fantastic for my grandchildren who spent a great deal of time having fun swimming. The owners were very nice and we plan to stay next year.

Great home/pool/location

Amazing house and pool, the neighborhood is super friendly! Quick walk to watch the sunset, stairs to beach where you can swim otherwise 10min drive to North/South Beach in South Haven. Provide beach/parking pass which was a plus. 5min from Kal-Haven trailhead. The beds were super comfy and baths/showers were awesome. The saltwater pool was great to chill at and felt nice swimming in. Just book, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect and Relaxing

Beautiful home near the water

We had a beautiful girls week away at the White House. The house decor, layout, amenities and pool were all amazing! The pool is just a few steps from the back deck and is wonderful. Joann has thought of everything to make you feel like you’re right at home but with the luxuries of a day spa. The extra touches with the robes and toiletries made it extra special. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfection at the White House!

Excellent location that allows you to satisfy what everyone wants to do each day—morning walks on the beach, pool time, beach or town time, BBQ time, wine time and sunset walks to the lake! Perfectly stocked kitchen made meals easy. This was our 3rd stay at the White House and we can’t wait to go back!

Great place to relax with family!

We loved our stay at The White House! Communication with the owners was great both before and after our stay. The house was very clean, and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. We appreciated the extras that we could use including the beach chairs. We absolutely loved the pool on the days we stayed home to relax. The only thing that we would change would be to have a beach within walking distance. Loved the sunsets!
